    a great guy.. Hodges

They have? I've seen all the episodes at least once and I don't recall any snippets of Greg's "past situations and life". He's mentioned his grandfather; he went to Stanford on a full scholarship and was Phi Beta Kappa; he collects coins; he drinks Blue Hawaii coffee; he knows miscellaneous...

"Bite Me" Discussion Thread **Beware Spoilers**

Maybe this season they'll get back to that formula with just the original CSI cast, Hodges providing the comic relief, and Sofia sharing detective duties with Brass. However, I do wish they'd bring back Vartann, Vega, and O'Reilly.

    a great guy.. Hodges

I believe the writers have this story template in mind where there has to be a main lab tech who's a general friend to all of the CSIs and also provides the comic relief. Now that Greg was moved out of that slot into that of a CSI, they needed someone to take over that role, so they gave it to...

Who do you want to see guest star on CSI

No. Baldness is passed down from the mother's genes, not the father's. Greg said he was glad baldness comes from the mother, meaning he wouldn't have to worry about going bald. Greggo does like his hair! There are a lot of inconsistencies with the "official CBS profiles". For example, they...

Who do you want to see guest star on CSI

No, because Greg talks about Papa Olaf in the present tense, so his grandfather is still living. Also, he mentioned that Papa Olaf was "Bruce Willis bald" by age 16 and that he was glad the bald gene comes from his mother's side...which I took to mean that Papa Olaf is his father's father. So if...

Who do you want to see guest star on CSI

Too old to his dad. But he'd be great for Papa Olaf!

Who do you want to see guest star on CSI

I'd like to see Michelle Phillips as Greg's mother...that is, if has one. Not sure is his parents are living since he's only ever mentioned his grandfather, Papa Olaf.

What? I thought poor Nicky never got any screen time. Well, it's about time he got something to do! I sure hope it's a great episode full of Nicky goodness, with lots of Warrick and Sara, too!

"Bite Me" Discussion Thread **Beware Spoilers**

That is too funny! :D Now I've got this mental picture of Greggo tied up to a street sign along a shaded curb communing with a few dogs whose owners have likewise tied them outside on the curb while they (the owners) enjoy a hearty pancake breakfast! Thanks for the laugh! On a serious note...

"Bite Me" Discussion Thread **Beware Spoilers**

Well, if the writers limit Greg's role to some basic scenes of collection/processing of evidence, it shouldn't change the dynamics all that much. It'd be great to see the Young Turks in action again, and I do miss the pancake breakfasts (alas, the tables are too small to accommodate all the gang...

This one sounds like it has a lot more Sara in it, and working with Grissom. Lots of Catherine, too, of course. Lots of Nick and Warrick as well. Greg might have a brief scene or two. Oh, and Brass and Archie are in it, too!

    a great guy.. Hodges

Did you see Greggo "suckin' up to Ecklie"? No. Nick and Warrick were teasing Greg because he had agreed to work a double shift at Ecklie's request. That's not the same thing as "suckin' up"--that's doing what the boss asks you to do (remember, Ecklie is boss over the entire lab). Nick and...

    a great guy.. Hodges

I meant that since Greg was THE lab rat the CSIs went to most of the time and they spent some of their free time chatting with him (but is now a full-fledged CSI), that Hodges has become more personable and friendly with the CSIs and has taken up that role. It was NOT meant as disrespect for...

    a great guy.. Hodges

I like Hodges! He's the new Greg, and I expect to see his role expand soon. It's great to have a new "king labrat" again.

How old are most CSI fans?

I started watching CSI with "Grave Danger" and then decided to watch the SPIKE TV reruns. I've seen all but S5 (only a few of those so far). I won't reveal my age; however, although Greg is my favorite character, I'm OLDER than Grissom (and Brass).
