    Langston is still a CSI 2 so I don't think that he would be allowed to become supervisor. So I guess Nick is now running the team. Or, like in my fantasy, Grissom comes back to supervise and train/teach a new level 1.:) I think they would have to bring in a new CSI anyway so the team isn't short.
