I know the spoilers often don't turn out the way they say, but this gave me a horrible sinking feeling. It sounds very much like the end of the road... Can anyone see Horatio surviving if his team's ripped away from him? I feel we're heading for something nasty.

Well, I put it through a different translator, and there didn't seem to be anything very controversial. And it didn't seem to give any indication about language or whether he'd be in it. I'm willing to be enlightened.

Not for the first time. It's sad that someone at CBS has so little respect for what was (and still is, even if it's getting on in years) one of their biggest series. A little care and accuracy isn't asking much...

Not a spoiler, more a curiosity! Reading 'Daily Mail' today (English newspaper). Article about horse called Finder, star of film 'War Horse'. Reporter visited him in California and found 'his bay coat dyed black, for his latest role in CSI Miami'.

Oh, I remember Season 1 finale well enough. That's my whole point - it's 9-10 years ago and look what's happened to him in the meantime? All characters evolve, even Horatio. He could never have stayed as idealistic as he started out. He's been too badly hurt, and it's showing.

Don't particularly want to get into a fight about this, although I would defend Horatio for as long as it takes. Point is, the man's changed, drastically, and why is anyone surprised? Given the amount of sh*t that's been thrown at him over the years, the amount of pain he's endured, was he...

Just for the record, I have NO problem with the last scene. I suppose, if he'd just shot him, none of you guys would object? Why should he pull him back up? That was a big guy - he could well have taken H down with him. You'd want that?
