I know someone (David, this time) dutifully mentions 'living legends', but... Just wondered what others think. And don't start me on guest directors - well, one...

Of course, when people say 'all due respect' they tend to mean the opposite... But in this case, it's probably just personal taste. The two shows are so different, it's unlikely (I'd have thought) that one could be a fan of them both equally.

Don't know if it varies in other countries, but in England I suspect Sunday is better than Saturday. Saturday tends to be when people go out. It's also the bigger night for sports.

I believe it is. So someone must know how it's ending. Unless they've filmed more than one ending, ready to sort it out in post.

Can't help feeling that there might be less risk, and less cost, in making more of one of the old faithfuls, rather than chancing a new show - I mean, the infrastructure's all there, and the so is the fan base. But who knows?

CBS has just said that its 4th quarter revenues are short of the estimate - no details, but not a hopeful sign...

I don't think he looks particularly tired, but he has lost a lot of weight, and it's beginning to show in his face. I know this is entirely his business - this is just an observation.

Not that I have a LOT of sympathy for the writers (having seen them miss so many opportunities over the years) but it must be so difficult to write something not knowing if you're ending the series or not. Feel CBS should stick its corporate neck out and decide much earlier - can't see that much...

As far as I know, David doesn't have any writing or directing credits.

(I know this is really the wrong thread, but we're here now... Perhaps moderator would like to move the last few posts?) I don't disagree with you about Horatio. But I believe David does nothing by accident or through laziness, so he must feel Horatio is like this now. I hope it's all leading...

DCHC4ever - Yes, I read him that way too... It really grieves me that they don't use his talent more. And I can't really understand why, since (I assume) his contract sees him paid regardless. Still, I suppose, if he's paid a large sum for four short scenes, why should he complain!

I think you should blame the writers, not David, for this. As soon as they give him something to get his teeth into, he's all over it. The fact that they often don't, may be why he's restless. But I can't see him letting Horatio go this late in the day, and I certainly can't see Miami surviving...

Okay-ish sort of episode - couldn't get very excited about any of it. And 'limited screen time' with both leading man and leading lady (for whatever reason) does NOT a good episode make.
