True, true... at least he doesn't sound like Dolly Parton or Randy Travis or whoever. :lol: I just can't picture him doing a British accent, for example -- unless it was for a comedy where he didn't have too keep too much of a straight face while doing it. I guess it's not the accent so much...

Do you think his Texan accent is a handicap? Some actors can mask their accents and take on other roles (I think of Renee Zellwiger or however you spell it who was able to play the British Briget Jones so convincingly even though she's a Southern girl). I wonder if George would be able to...

Re: It has to be asked CSI or CSI:Miami The only reason I ever subject myself to CSI Miami is that the stories aren't so bad -- but I don't like the cast AT ALL! I can't figure out who I like less: Horatio, Calleigh or Alexx. CSI is my #1 show and I also like CSI: New York.

I think my main "fantasy" about Nick in Season 7 is also about taking on more leadership. I think he has MORE than proven himself, particulary -- though WE have been frustrated by the lack of GD continuity or meltdown -- in the way that he came back SO STRONGLY from such a traumatic experience...

Good thoughts, you guys! I hadn't considered this. Perhaps Warrick was thinking of Nick AND Brass (I'm sure Brass' situation reminded him of Nick's). Warrick is a little more emotional than some of the other characters and it makes sense that he'd be bothered that someone who COULD have lived...

Good point, Baba. And, let's be honest people... if you all liked Tom Cruise, wouldn't you agree that Nick DOES have a "Tom Cruise thing going on"? Sometimes when he smiles he reminds me of Cruise because they both have very toothy dimpled smiles and their colouring IS the same. What I love...

I'm just happy that Nick is getting more and more of a prominent spot on the show. I think that's a good sign for his future on CSI. And good news for we Syndromists. :D

I kept cracking up, too, during this episode. :lol: Great writing! I thought it was neat, too, how the opening scene was not the standard aerial shot of Las Vegas, but the wedding itself. (Oops... better not start listing things I liked... lol)
