I understand that not every case can be cleaned up and put away nice and neat every week, but bringing back the same villians just makes the CSIs and police officers in Las Vegas look very ineffective. Vegas isn't too far from a state border; maybe they should check into crimes committed in...

In Nick's defense he only slept with the girl after she told him she was quitting the business and planning to go to college. He was such an innocent back in the first season. ;)

I meant that maybe JB is using Nick to get to more CSIs, Nick included. I could see him mouthing off at one of his 'group' meetings about how this CSI tried to 'help' him, and the group using that knowledge to draw more law enforcement personnel into a dangerous situation.

He was definitely looking 'baffled' at Greg's behavior. I watched this episode again this past weekend. However, he didn't ever show any indication of being angry in this scene. Catherine was the one who asked his about compromising the DNA, if I remember correctly.
