Yelina Salas #2: 'Get Back To Where You Once Belonged'

I know this is a thread where eveyone wants to see more of Yelina and a possible relationship between H/Y but I still hope that Season 5 won't be just drama, I hope that they will keep having good investigations, and "simple" episodes, where it's just one case to solve and that's it...I miss...

1000 Forensic Things You Have Learnt From CSI

    16) Insects can be a lot of help for determining T.O.D (in real life, it's called forensic entimology, it's fascinating!)

has watching these shows made you think...

I live in an area where policemen are not very popular, and the general aproach would be to despise them. The CSI shows have definitly made me consider being a CSI, partly because it made be realise that CSIs and forensic related officers, are separate from regular patrol officers. I have always...

    CSI Rankings

For the CSIs, if they are sworn officers, do they also follow the regular police rankings (officer, lieutenant...)?

CSI:Miami Season 5 *Spoiler Lab* Proceed With Caution!!

I think everyone agrees thatRaymond dying in the first episode isn't logical when you think of all the trouble they went to to revive him. The writers also said, talking about season 3 that they wanted to write Ray back in, but then again that was two years ago, so I guess anything can...

CSI:Miami Season 5 *Spoiler Lab* Proceed With Caution!!

I was wondering about something, if things do spice up between Horatio and Yelina, how is Delko going to take it? I mean, it isn't that long since they married each other...or maybe the new bond he created with Horatio will help overcome that?

CSI: Why examine a crime scene with flashlights?

Yelina Salas #2: 'Get Back To Where You Once Belonged'

I've been reading this thread for a long time now, and sorry, but I just can't resist joining in...even if it's just to babble...When H told Y about Maddy, I guess for Yelina, the world did really break apart beneath her feet, at least the world she "saw". She knew that Ray was on drugs, and...

CSI: Why examine a crime scene with flashlights?

I don't understand, I was reading somewhere about crime scenes...or maybe it was a documentary on TV, anyway, it was a serious source, that the use of flashlights was highly recommended because it helped you pick up details that you might have missed otherwise, and then use a special flashlight...

CSI: Why examine a crime scene with flashlights?

Also, details stand out better when the flashlight is focused directly on an object : especially imprints. You get different types of flashlight, but usually, they are separate : you wouldn't get a flashlight that lights corners up and reveals bloiod at the same time. THe second reason is that...

    Horatio & Yelina Thread #4 ~The Romantic Real Deal~

Re: Horatio & Yelina #4 ~'The Romantic Real Deal'~ Don't anyone of you think that Ray Jr is going to be a big part of this? Why would they change actor if it wasn't because he's going to have a bigger screentime. If my assumption's true, then Ray Jr is going to be a big part of the H/Y...

CSI:Miami Season 5 *Spoiler Lab* Proceed With Caution!!

Actually, I disagree. In a fair number of episodes, women are actually the murderers, or know how to defend themselves : a 16 year old girl killed a cop with her boyfriend "Jojo", a mother killed her ex-husband's girlfriend and hid the gun in the swimming pool then tried to frame her ex...

    Ballistics, a gun's "DNA"

What can I say...well done! But are firearm-related crime really that common in the USA? Or is just exagerated?

    Ballistics, a gun's "DNA"

True...especially with guns. It's probably different in the States, but I don't think a lot of people would be able to pursue a career in firearms...I can't believe there actually is a rifle team in high schools! That would be unheard off over here! About turning a hobby into a career, I guess...

    Horatio & Yelina Thread #4 ~The Romantic Real Deal~

Re: Horatio & Yelina #4 ~'The Romantic Real Deal'~ But when she accepts letting Ray Jr give his blood, the expression on her face when she enters the hospital rooms, makes me think that she's forgiven Horatio, she's understood that he was only trying to protect her and that it was Ray's...

HC/DC's Thread #10 - Will The Real Horatio Please Stand Up?

Re: Horatio's Thread #5 - Will The Real Horatio Please Stand I agree with you. Horatio is a great guy with lots of qualities. He's generous ( a little too much when you think about it...), caring, and I could go on and on for ages.People look up to him. Why is Miami so popular? I think one of...

CSI:Miami Season 5 *Spoiler Lab* Proceed With Caution!!

Sorry for joining the discussion in the middle...Still I don't think Natalia should become a CSI, at least not just yet, maybe in season 6 or later...but now I think she should "redeem herself" for being the mole, prove that she won't do it again...and then perhaps progressively let her become a...

    Ballistics, a gun's "DNA"

THanks a lot, you're absolutly right, in Europe (at least in France and England, the countries I know best) someone would be suspicious by just possessing a firearm. In most cases, he could be arrested just for that! Thanks again :D
