Troy was on tv yesterday. It was quite good and I really enjoyed it. But neither Orlando Bloom as Paris nor Diane Kruger as Helen was a good choice. That was somewhat disappointing to me. But apart from that it's all in all a great movie. Even I liked Brad Pitt as Achilles and I'm actually not...

I do believe that Gerard and the others trained a lot for that movie but still it looked very strange and artificial to me. You probably right I would like the movie more if I had seen it in a theatre but I must confess that I don't go that often in a theatre. I'm quite a bit too lazy.

Oh no I didn't want to say that I couldn't imagine he reads books or so. It was more the lighted candle thing which bothers me. But it is just my opinion.

I think you're right. I couldn't imagine Jon as a guy who lights some candles and reads a magazine when he comes home from work... but the pic is very cute Yoshi :)

So far I like both Miami and Vegas. I've seen only the first two episode of NY and I was a bit disappointed so I stopped watching it for now. Probably I'll watch it later if I'll have the time.

300: as I wrote in the other film thread a few days ago it's boring very boring. and these Visual effects... amazing... even the six-packs of the Spartans were made by computer simulation. :rolleyes:

Or they had the same decorator. :lol: I really like these pics even though I've never thought that he had such an interior decoration...

Actually I agree with you that they should use anatomical terms but I think the way they played this out based on the "entertaining factor" of tv shows. So maybe they've tried to make it more "shocking" for the audience even if it hasn't really worked.
