Too much ship on the tv?

I feel old and grumpy even hearing the word ship now, though it's only a couple of months since I found out what it meant. They should be focussing on the rappore between the characters and leaving the romance for occasional support actors. Most US TV shows tend to have to have the leads...

CSI:NY Season 5 Spoiler Discussion - This City Never Sleeps

If AJ didn't say Godfather, then I'm guessing it's Stella. Isn't she there at the hospital with Lindsay (think I read that). Lindsay will go into labour in the lab and Stella will be there for her in her time of need. At least this time if she tries to look stressed and does her constipated...

    Grade "Communication Breakdown"

I did enjoy the episode, even though there was practically no storyline, as there was a good vibe to it. The technology normally annoys me, but I was fair taken with the virtual autopsy of the guys innards. I'm awaiting scans of my intestines, so I'll give the local hospital a miss and get...

CSI:NY Season 5 Spoiler Discussion - This City Never Sleeps

Why does the baby get a godfather? They were married in the registry office (or whatever it was called), so God wasn't involved, even if he brought them together. Surely the kid won't be christened.

Big Season Finale Spoiler *MAJOR SPOILER*

AJ is probably assisting the producers in winding us up and watching us go. I suspect all this speculation will be much more interesting and entertaining than the finale anyway, it's keeping my attention more than the show has all season. If he is telling the truth, I would change my mind...

    Grade 'Point of No Return'

It did cross my mind that Stella's Professor friend could end up being involved in this, but hopefully he won't be another person to let her down.

CSI:NY Season 5 Spoiler Discussion - This City Never Sleeps

How else could he talk to her about it? When the 3 druggies were killed by their lawyers, he went to the court to tell the judge. When Ella overdosed, he went to her apartment. The man clearly doesn't know how to use his phone.

Why Lindsay Must Go, Part 4

I've gone from being in the Lindsay must go side to having my butt firmly imbedded in the fence. To me the main problem has always been the writing. The Lindsay character has always been really poorly defined, and I am left wondering what kind of direction Anna is given in understanding her...

    Why take likeable chracters.....

I agree. I didn't remember him from before, so re-watched a couple of episodes and thought he was a poor actor and an annoying fluffy character (though he did get good lines in one ep). This episode though, the actor got to show what he was capable of and he didn't disappoint. Same goes for...

CSI:NY Season 5 Spoiler Discussion - This City Never Sleeps

If Mac and Stella are in Greece in the penultimate episode, is it possible that they may not be back in New York yet, 10 minutes into the finale. If this means Danny is still holding the fort, then he will take on all the blame, and obviously the melodrama, if it is anyone but him who bites the...

Big Season Finale Spoiler *MAJOR SPOILER*

It did make sense to focus closely on Danny, as he was an interesting, complex character, played by an excellent actor, people did want to know more about him. But they have gone about it all wrong and have totally destroyed the character, making him less interesting to watch and going by...

    Why take likeable chracters.....

There was 15, i think, but they were corpses he was assigned to do the post mortem on, so were already dead. I've no idea what he did with the remains of his victims, maybe we'll find out later, though with this shows continuity record, I doubt it.

    Why take likeable chracters.....

If it was on a regular basis, over a year, would he actually know himself? I assumed that's what got to Sid, the fact he couldn't answer the question.

Big Season Finale Spoiler *MAJOR SPOILER*

That is interesting, I never noticed that, as I was in my filtering out tat mode. I'd still put money on it being Danny. Grissom had almost half a season build-up to leaving, it feels like Danny is having a full season build-up to leaving, as everything in season 5 is shown by how it affect...

CSI:NY Season 5 Spoiler Discussion - This City Never Sleeps

I'll be very surprised if the producers can keep it a secret until the finale, I've never known of a bigger bunch of blabbermouths in any other shows / movies. They are like 5 yr olds who clipe about everything they see or hear.

    Grade 'Point of No Return'

Now I feel like the old grannie who can't follow the conversation, but what is 'the wifebeater'. I thought you were talking about his doo-dah, but i'm quite sure that isn't detachable.

    Grade 'Point of No Return'

I quite enjoyed this, as a piece of entertainment, but thought it was really really far-fetched. I wasn't looking forward to the return of Pino, I thought he was an early arrival to the stunt-casting and had a "look ma, i'm on the telly" acting style. This week though, I thought the actor did...

    Grade 'Green Piece'

I did think he did well in the scene with Gary, you can see the admiration that Danny has for Mac and the joy he gets from any snippet of praise he is given. I just don't see the same attention to detail in his scenes with Anna and honestly don't understand why. He is an excellent young...

Big Season Finale Spoiler *MAJOR SPOILER*

Ok, point 1 I don't get either, but the younger viewers seem to like the couple as much as the cute boy (she would have been hated in my day) Of course they're not going to have a happy ending, Danny is the resident screw-up, he's going to make a really big, awful, stupid, thoughtless...
