I don't know what he's smoking, but you certainly do not have to pay a monthly fee to avoid the late charges. If you return it within 7 days past the original due date, you are fine, and go happily without fees. You can read more at their terms of services.

Blowfish Blend was a name I created to identify the song in the episode. Bill Brown composes music for CBS, which CBS immediately owns the rights to. While he may be able to post samples of this on his site, it's highly unlikely he will be able to sell it. Your only hope is to wait for a CSI...

They wouldn't have inlcuded that line anyways, it wouldn't have fit with the series at all. Besides, even if it did fit with the series, it'd have to require one of the original CSI's transferring over to Miami, only to find out the same stuff they left is what they're stuck with now.
