CSI: NY moves to Fridays 8pm (7 central) this Fall

Re: CSI: NY moves to Fridays at 8pm (7 central) this Fall On one hand,I'm glad to see CSI NY is in a timeslot where it at least won't be delayed by football or other events. On the other hand,I'm certain next season will be the last one of the Mentalist due to it getting the time slot of death.

Criminal Minds #4: We Take Care Of Our Own!

The next couple of episodes will be the last ones featuring Paget Brewster. She is leaving the show for good this time and I quite frankly can't blame her. She and A.J. Cook were treated like crap by CBS.

CSI: NY Renewed for Season 9

Agree with you on your points Jade. You take any show off the air for six weeks,it's ratings will suffer. It's why for many shows their ratings never recovered after the writer's strike in 07-08. The three month hiatus was simply too much. As for the Mac & Christine relationship,it doesn't even...

CSI:Miami cancelled, CSI:NY renewed along with CSI

Miamirocks it doesn't make it right what happened but the cold hard truth is that's show business, something everyone on CSI Miami and the crew surely know with all their years in the biz. We all would like the Hollywood ending for our favorite shows where the stars and fans are given the respect...

CSI: NY Renewed for Season 9

I personally felt CSI Miami lost its way a couple of seasons ago. H became unlikeable and the storylines with the other characters became stale. That and the plotlines became too far out for me. It's not bashing the show at all,and it's something that happens to many shows that are on for a...

CSI:Miami cancelled, CSI:NY renewed along with CSI

As others have said, what's done is done and there shouldn't be show bashing. In the end,it came down to $$$ which made CSI Miami the obvious choice. Those who stated they felt CSI Miami had more to offer over NY should respect the viewpoints of those who feel otherwise and vice versa.

    CSI:Miami is cancelled.

Murder,She Wrote went on for 12 years and the way CBS ended that..was far worse then what happened to CSI Miami. Yes CSI Miami deserved better but so did many other shows. Law & Order,Murder,She Wrote,Cold Case just to name a few. Sad to say, when it comes to Hollywood endings, very seldom do long...

CSI: NY Renewed for Season 9

I personally thought CSI Miami was doomed the minute it got moved to the 10 pm timeslot on Sunday night. That is the timeslot for shows that are marked for death. Plus Eva being allowed to shoot a pilot for ABC and the reduced episode order. I don't think they knew 100% that the show would be...

    So What Happened To...

We'll never know. It was one of those storylines that really suffered from the shortened season.

CSI:Miami cancelled, CSI:NY renewed along with CSI

Indeed...one of my other favorite shows was Cold Case which in many ways was better than CSI Miami and NY but never got a fair shake as they did. We were spoiled in getting so many episodes and in decent time slots too.

Ten years is nothing to sneeze at. Many shows don't last half that long before all the magic is gone.

CSI:Miami cancelled, CSI:NY renewed along with CSI

It will be sad to see the franchise eventually end but having a series where all of the shows have lasted more than eight years is pretty darn good. Many shows are lucky to have more than five seasons.

CSI:Miami cancelled, CSI:NY renewed along with CSI

Mentioned it in another thread but I'll say it here too that I hope the writers give it their all for Season 9 of NY and treat it respectfully. I truly feel next year will be the last season of it and it should be treated as such.

    CSI SpinOffs in Limbo

That's been my feeling on it too. Plus,H had simply become too unlikeable for me. When you can't root for the main star of the show anymore, that's a problem.

    CSINY Season 9

The only thing that surprised me was that both weren't canceled. I have to say though,I prefer NY to Miami. It wasn't just the campy storylines either. H had turned into someone I could no longer root for. As by the book as Mac is,he still hasn't become a thug with a badge like H did. I hope...

CSI: NY Renewed for Season 9

Not surprised about Miami but since I'm a bigger fan of NY,I'm cool with it. I really hope there will be good writing for CSI NY next year,I have no doubt the ninth year will be its last.

    CSI:Miami is cancelled.

Not many Mac. The only time they do is usually when everyone knows the show will be canceled. I enjoyed watching Smallville (the sci-fi geek in me is coming out) and it got a good ending because everyone knew the 10th season was the final one. Csi Miami's ending wasn't the best but it was also...

    CSI:Miami is cancelled.

Not shocked at all by it being canceled. You don't let some of your stars talk to other shows about doing pilots, put in the time slot of death where the last several shows to be put there and shorten the season for a show you intend to bring back. As for the ending and the budget being used as...

    Grade 'Near Death'

Mac is the star of the show,so of course he's going to get the main spotlight. Plus,it's not like Flack hasn't gotten his own share of airtime this season. Stinks about the ratings but not shocked. That six weeks off really hurt them.

    CSI SpinOffs in Limbo

INdeed, that's why the one storyline wasn't wrapped up. The writers felt ending the season on a fractured team wasn't the way to go. Kudos to them.
