I think last season was a choice of looking at $$$ and seeing which CSI show would be cheaper to produce,Miami or NY. I really think this is NY's last season. I've seen it with Cold Case,WIthout A Trace etc. You get one reprieve but you won't get a second one.

Solid episode and nice to see that for a change,one of the CSIS didn't magically heal from injuries he or she got. I remember Delko having reprucussions as well. Great start to season 9 and hope to see more.

Liked this episode for the season start. Dramatic moments blended with great moments with the main characters at the end.

She was always one of my favorite characters. If nothing else,she was one of the only people that could get through to Grissom and make him more of a human being at times.

I felt the same way. I know others feel differently but I felt CSI Miami losts it way a couple of seasons ago,with the episode in outer space being proof that it had jumped the shark.

For me,I'll take it being the last season if it ends on a high note. By the time Without A Trace ended,it had become a joke. I quit watching Law & Order SVU because it had also jumped the shark and Cold Case was slowly starting to go down that road. I don't want to see that happen to CSI NY...

I hope it's not the last season as well but the fact it's rumored to have been on the chopping block for a couple of years now is not a good sign. IMO of course just on past experiences with CBS shows I've liked.

Figured I would say hi here even though I've been around a while. Out of all the CSI's,NY is my favorite.

Making it past five years is a feat for any show. As for what you said,I agree. I really do believe this is the last season for CSI NY. So let's enjoy it and hope we get amazing episodes to watch!

IMO,it's about time Reid had a relationship. As long as it doesn't take over the show,I'm fine with it. As for Jeanne Tripplehorn,have to wait and see. I fully understand why Paget left,but hopefully she won't be as bad as the previous actress that tried to replace her.

Had to defend CSI NY. I get where the CSI Miami fans are upset about it being canceled but I'm sorry,regardless of CBS's lame excuses for canceling it,no reason to take it out on our show.

It came down to money,period. I was not shocked when CSI Miami got canceled,the only shocker was CSI NY didn't go right along with it. Cold hard truth is no matter what the ratings were going to be,when CBS puts a show in that timeslot on SUnday,it's pretty much the kiss of death for that show...
