CSI: NY Season 5 Spoiler Discussion--Drama in Alphabet City!

Neither would I. They're both good actors so there's nothing to say there not acting during the interview. While it's entirely possible another death is on the horizon, it's also likely this is all part of the hype. It now makes sense why they released the info about Angell, they obviously...

The Cliffhanger Poll *SPOILERS for the FINALE*

Well, there's nothing concrete to suggest it's Stella so at this stage I'd have to call that comment speculative. It's possible someone read the write up and saw the recent promo and put two and two together. In the promo it certainly looks like Stella is in trouble, but that happens in ep 24...

Why Lindsay Must Go, Part 4

I think it's smart and a little stoopid at the same time. But, the fact of the matter is tptb want the ratings and this method certainly seems to work. It's interesting that the highest ratings for the latter part of the season have been the wedding and the birth. It's a shame that they have...

The Cliffhanger Poll *SPOILERS for the FINALE*

I've just rewatched the promo and something new struck me. As the shots ring out they all manage to hold onto their glasses except for one. Stella. I'm sure I'm looking too much into it but I first noticed that some still had hold of their drinks despite ducking and diving. All except for...

Why Lindsay Must Go, Part 4

Thank you. It's great to be able to discuss things without it getting personal or judgemental about why we all see things the way we do. :) Actually I think that was the 'nicest' moment between them but not the most intimate. That came immediately after the birth, with Danny holding her and...

Why Lindsay Must Go, Part 4

Because ultimately this show is about the team. It's what sets it apart from the other CSI shows apparently (not that I'd know because I don't really watch the others). I really think tptb have chosen to showcase the DL relatioship through the team as much as possible and I wonder how much of...

    Grade 'Greater Good'

I'm not too sure how things are done your side of the pond but certainly in the Uk having up to 4 godparents is pretty common. That was my original point in terms of them seemingly having a lot of men (brothers) to choose from then it would've made more sense for them to ask Stella as I'm...

The Cliffhanger Poll *SPOILERS for the FINALE*

I went for Danny, mainly because he's been getting into a few sticky situations of late. Also, it's clear from the promo that he's pushing Lindsay down so that would fit with Pam Veasey's comment about heroism. But, having said that it really could be any of them. I do agree that we may not...

    Grade 'Greater Good'

Ahh, I hadn't thought of it like that. Danny did say 'my mom had two boys, her mom had three' so it could have meant his maternal grandmother. But, I read it on the back of Stella's 'you and Lindsay may have a girl' as him referring to his mom and Lindsay's mom. Maybe we'll never know. :)

    Grade 'Greater Good'

Actually we do. When Danny was on his 'we're going to have a boy' naming mission he told Stella that his mom had two boys and Lindsay's mom had three boys. I'm assuming from that comment that Lindsay is the only girl in her family.

Why Lindsay Must Go, Part 4

 It really is a small wonder how she didn't grab him by the collar (instead of Adam of course) and tell him to shut the hell up! I definitely think Danny could have used one of 'mother's little helpers' at that point.

Why Lindsay Must Go, Part 4

I've never given birth myself but I have been in the room with upwards of 20 women giving birth (and no, not at the same time!). It definitely was realistic to me. Sometimes you get real 'screamers' but certainly not the majority in my experience. I actually thought she played the scene...

    Grade 'Greater Good'

B+ I wanted to give it an A but there were too many things that didn't make a lot of sense. Mostly details but they're the aspects that take me out of the show and make me go 'huh?', then take a moment to figure out what's going on, by which time I've missed something else. I thought the case...

CSI: NY Season 5 Spoiler Discussion--Drama in Alphabet City!

Of course! The sniper! I completely forgot about that, I think I was just focusing on Dunbrook, the death and the cliffhanger that I forgot the detail of the sniper. Well, with that in mind I tend to agree that Danny may be the one in peril. At least Mac & Flack have adopted defensive...

CSI: NY Season 5 Spoiler Discussion--Drama in Alphabet City!

I think they were referencing Lindsay's baby, not Anna's :). And, I really doubt that even tptb think the birth is the 'biggest' event. They're just hyping it up and making a play on words re. the 'big' event (as giving birth is often referred to). It's funny as I DO see Lindsay as the suck...

CSI: NY Season 5 Spoiler Discussion--Drama in Alphabet City!

Am intrigued by the scene with Danny standing next to the Avalanche. Can't wait to see the context. At first I thought he was getting shot at but when I looked at it again it seemed as though something was thrown. It's about time we finally got to see things from Lindsay's perspective...

CSI: NY Season 5 Spoiler Discussion--Drama in Alphabet City!

It would also be pretty irresponsible in the current financial climate. I suspect that's someone embelishing the whole 'nobody knows who it is' comment from AJ's (I think) interview. :)

    Grade 'Yahrzeit'

A+ Great episode but damn heartbreaking. I knew Abraham had killed the guy but had no clue who he really was. It's not often this show suprises me anymore. I think it's that element of surprise that has prompted me to reflect on more than just the emotional impact of this story. In fact, the...

CSI: NY Season 5 Spoiler Discussion--Drama in Alphabet City!

I suspect it's just a play on words to fit with the rest of the promo, weddings and babies are commonly referred to as 'big' events. Plus, maybe they've now decided to play it subtle about the other 'bigger' event coming up - I doubt it though. :) I'm really not surprised about having Adam...

CSI: NY Season 5 Spoiler Discussion--Drama in Alphabet City!

It seems likely that some time has passed if Lindsay's back at work for the finale. In fact, I vaguely recall there being a discussion on another site a few weeks ago where someone had come across a blog that seemed to talk of a CSI NY casting call for a baby. I think the speculation at the...
