CSI:NY Season 6 Spoiler Discussion - Start Spreading the News!

Maybe tptb need to stop trying too hard to make the storylines for these characters riveting. Personally I don't need to see them coming back for some big drama-filled storyline. If that's what tptb want to do then it's little wonder they're struggling to find the right way to do it. There's...

    Ooops, What a mistake!

'The Box' was on again tonight in the UK and I picked up on a mistake I missed the first time around. When Danny was telling Stella about Elizabeth, the owner of the car, he said she was 25 years old. At the end of the episode after she had taken the baby Flack said she was 30. :)

CSI:NY Season 6 Spoiler Discussion - Start Spreading the News!

Absolutely. I can see Danny feeling inadequate as a father because he might not be able to do the things he wants to do with Lucy. I think that might lead to him feeling extremely frustrated but I don't think it will lead him to being neglectful in his parenting role at all. I really hope...

CSI:NY Season 6 Spoiler Discussion - Start Spreading the News!

I know whatcha mean! I can see them having separate storylines for a while, but I really hope they come together at some point. I can totally understand why you'd be concerned about that. I think the issue here is whether or not they actually show Lindsay as supporting Danny. Because I feel...

CSI:NY Season 6 Spoiler Discussion - Start Spreading the News!

Well, if anyone's gonna guilt trip him, it'll be Hawkes. Sheldon has this energy and positivity about him that reflects a certain determination a lot of other people just don't have. He also has some pretty exacting standards and a somewhat idealist outlook imo. In fact, if he wasn't so nice...

I'm not really sure what you mean by that?? I suspect Danny's focus will be on his recovery - I can't see him doing any undercover work for a while.

CSI:NY Season 6 Spoiler Discussion - Start Spreading the News!

I'm glad I'm not the only one. While I see this as such an exciting storyline for Danny, there are so many things I'm going to miss. I guess if they're gone permanently I'll get over it, as long as there are interesting things to come. Yeah, I could see Danny being really, really down for a...

CSI:NY Season 6 Spoiler Discussion - Start Spreading the News!

Spoilers for 604 'Dead Reckoning' that I don't think we've seen yet (at least I haven't) :). http://spoilertv-csi.blogspot.com/search/label/CSI%20NY I'm really excited about the physical therapist for Danny and the fact he gives up too easily. It's gonna be a tough road but Carmine will be...

CSI:NY Spoiler Discussion - Bring on Season 6!

I have a confession to make. There's a really, really shallow side to me that doesn't want Danny to be permanently confined to a wheelchair. It makes me sad to think that he may not be doing the whole running, jumping, leaping thing when chasing suspects, or that he won't be doing his whole...

CSI:NY Spoiler Discussion - Bring on Season 6!

I recall reading an interesting article a couple of years ago about audience surrogates. In that case it was focusing on the character of Chloe in 24 as being the person who regular fans can relate to. She was the one who reacted in many circumstances as the fans themselves could imagine...

Dear Writers... (Have something you want to say?)

Dear writer's, I know it's hard to keep everyone happy but please, please bring back some of the two case episodes. Now I know you probably ditched them in an attempt to make way for more personal storylines and more 'team' moments but it just feels as thought there's a little something...

CSI:NY Spoiler Discussion - Bring on Season 6!

Someone posted somewhere on the web (can't remember where) that they'd seen a twitter tweet (or whatever!) from the actor who played the barman in the finale. Apparently it said he'd been recalled for a re-shoot. I assume that means they're going to be showing us more detail in terms of who...

    Danny's Dogtags

Doesn't he wear some wooden beady thing now? That struck me as being more Carmine than Danny when I first noticed it though. :)

CSI:NY Spoiler Discussion - Bring on Season 6!

Nah, you're not reading it wrong. The 'affect on another character' comment was referencing Flack in response to Angell's death. :)

TV Guide have a very brief interview with Pam Veasey about the new character. She also talks about the decision to kill off Angell. http://www.tvguidemagazine.com/news/sarah-carter-joins-csi-ny-1762.html

Why Lindsay Must Go, Part 4

I can't really say that he falls short of convincing me that Danny is into Lindsay because I found him pretty convincing in S2 & S3. But, while I do believe that Danny loves Lindsay, there is something missing in that portrayal for me right now. I can't actually pinpoint anything in Carmine's...

Why Lindsay Must Go, Part 4

I consciously decided to stay out of this particular debate for a while, mainly because we have no idea whether Carmine struggles to relay attraction (if in fact he does struggle) because of any aesthetic shortfalls and I admit to feeling more than a little uncomfortable speculating such things...

CSI:NY Spoiler Discussion - Bring on Season 6!

Exactly. It's a tricky one to manage and being that tptb aren't always great with continuity I do have some concerns.

CSI:NY Spoiler Discussion - Bring on Season 6!

You explained yourself perfectly clearly. I totally understand how difficult the past few seasons have been for people who struggle to sympathise with Lindsay. But, because I DO sympathise with her I can see how awful this situation will be for her too. Danny will not be easy to live with and...

CSI:NY Spoiler Discussion - Bring on Season 6!

Although to be fair, the situation will also be about her and the added pressure of having a husband who's injured alongside a (relatively) newborn baby - not easy. I just hope as Top said that she does step up to the plate, but that it's also done realistically. I think there's an opportunity...
