CSI: NY Season 6 Spoiler Discussion - Bright Lights, Big City

It's Ella Thomas, not Thompson. Her IMDB profile page credits her for this episode as playing Agent Deborah Martin - although the casting info from CBS has her as Deborah Meade. I'm assuming IMDB have got the character's name wrong but the actress is definitely the one in this episode and she...

CSI: NY Season 6 Spoiler Discussion - Bright Lights, Big City

Isn't the dead person mumified? Admittedly there could be more than one corpse though. The person in the water looks female to me, and yes my first thought was that it had to be Lindsay as the only guest star is a black female. I'm actually more excited for this episode than I have been in a...

CSI: NY Season 6 Spoiler Discussion - Bright Lights, Big City

It seems as though Manhattanhenge (?sp) as a name is derived from Stonehenge as both have similar sun alignments at solstice time (or something like that). I kinda get the concept but not the exact history or detail. :) And yes, the timeline is definitely off but then again it has been for a...

    Grade "Hammer Down"

There wasn't anything that really grabbed me about this episode. It felt as though it was just filling in the pieces of the trilogy but had something missing in terms of this being the NY corner of the franchise. I didn't expect them to have continuity re. the ongoing character storylines in...

Locker Room #18: Danny/Carmine: Welcome to the Insane Asylum!

I'm really looking forward to it, assuming he gets to delve deeper into Danny's past in the way Melina did with Stella. Although I do agree that Stella's storyline wasn't great and hope that Danny's will be better. I'm excited to see what he does with it. As for him writing D/L I doubt that's...

CSI: NY Season 6 Spoiler Discussion - Bright Lights, Big City

I still don't think he freely discloses to any of them. He did with Flack in "On the Job" but that was out of sheer desperation and the fact that Flack didn't react in the way he wanted him to (as unreasonable as that was) may have compounded his insecurities. Likewise with Mac in RSRD...

CSI: NY Season 6 Spoiler Discussion - Bright Lights, Big City

I totally agree that she's not pushing hard enough. In all fairness though, I think she's come a heck of a long way and it would be unrealistic to see her pushing as hard as say Flack (has in the past) at this point. And that's the difference. I don't really agree that Danny particularly...

CSI: NY Season 6 Spoiler Discussion - Bright Lights, Big City

Ideally, your definition of a partner hits the nail on the head of what it should be like. Add my cynicism into the mix and I believe it's a rare occurence in life. That's not to say it can't happen, I just believe that the portrayal here is realistic compared with a lot of RL relationships...

CSI: NY Season 6 Spoiler Discussion - Bright Lights, Big City

Realistically, probably not. I freely admit to having a somewhat cyinical view of relationships but personally speaking I'm much more likely to disclose to a friend than a partner if I'm trying to avoid worrying said partner. I certainly don't see Danny as being driven by sexism, but I do see...

CSI: NY Season 6 Spoiler Discussion - Bright Lights, Big City

I have to admit an alarm went off in my head when I read the part about Danny being in pain and not wanting anyone to know about it. I know the whole 'addicted to painkillers' route has been discussed as a possiblity - and mostly dissed as I recall, but I'm really hoping this is not the...

    Danny's Recovery -- Too Soon??

For me, it's less about his recovery being too soon and so much more about the storyline not making much sense. I shan't rehash the inconsistencies as they're already been pointed out, but the fact he was only given minimal chances of walking and he's managed to do it without much of a struggle...

CSI: NY Season 6 Spoiler Discussion - Bright Lights, Big City

That really is a great scene and Hawkes was definitely the best choice for that particular ass kicking. My only problem is that last week Danny seemed to be working hard to get back to full fitness, now suddenly he's giving up. Hawkes' words suggest he's just not been trying hard enough for...

    Season 6 Ratings

I haven't seen this posted yet but it may be interesting for any ratings buffs out there. Personally I don't quite 'get it' but it talks about Weds nights being hit by a ratings slump, possibly due to the number of new shows being aired (at least, I think that's what it means).:)...

    Grade "Lat 40 47'N/Long 73 58'W"

I really don't have a problem with them jumping forward in time. I was expecting it at some point to be honest. This isn't a real time show so they have the option of jumping forward weeks, months and even years (let's hope not) if they choose. But, like other's have said, if they're going to...

    Grade 'Blacklist'

Of course it was . I am really in no position to judge . While I totally agree with your perception of Lindsay at school, I do see a certain depth to her and suspect she may have had hidden levels of coolness outside of social institutionalism. Admittedly that's kind of a 'cop...

    Grade 'Blacklist'

OMG, I read this and decided to check out their 'Is this love' video just for recollection purposes - I'm not sure I'll ever be the same again. 20 years on things that were once 'cool' now seem ridiculous . I have to say though that at the time Whitesnake definitely struck me as being...

CSI:NY Season 6 Spoiler Discussion - Start Spreading the News!

It was more that her character in 24 was manipulative/sinister :). Possibliy not, but the fact that she's trying to convince them she killed him suggests she's definitely manipulative and I would imagine at least pretending to be sinister. :)

CSI:NY Season 6 Spoiler Discussion - Start Spreading the News!

^^ Looking forward to seeing Mia Kirshner as Deborah Carter. I loved Mia in 24 and I'm sure she'll be great here. She plays sinister/manipulation very well which seems from the spoilers to be qualities needed in the character of Deborah. Cool. :)
