Here's your bonus question: what test did the Kastle-Meyer test replace and why was that test phased out?

It's actually the Kastle-Meyer test - a forensic presumptive blood test. You collect the sample on a swab, apply a few drops of alcohol, then a few drops of phenolphthalein and finally a few drops of hydrogen peroxide. If it turns pink then it's positive for blood.

Re: "Peoples Choice: CSI LV" Discussion *Congratulations* You took the words right out of my mouth! :lol: I was thrilled to see Don (who is a phenomenal actor) give the award to CSI last night. Maybe we can get him in the next Tarantino episode. ;)

I'm sure it exists but I've never seen it - I'd love to though. I've heard Billy in interviews talk about how he gets bored easily when waiting around during scenes and apparently amuses himself by tormenting the "corpses". He's a rascal. :D

Re: who is youe fav cath/sara/sofie? take the poll I love Cath but ever since Sofia came on the show she'd have to be my favourite now. Gorgeous, strong, intelligent woman with a gun and a badge. :D Not to mention the electricity on screen when Sofia and Grissom are on a case together...

Re: Sofia Curtis It was mentioned in "Bodies in Motion" that she was originally a cop and the sherrif pulled her papers and assigned her to CSI against her wishes. But I don't think they've actually mentioned where she was trained. We don't know all that much about her really. It'd be nice...

*sigh* No Gofia tonight though Sofia did get nice airtime. How much did I love her "I got bored" scene with Sara. Hey, if you're going to leave her cooling her heels at the scene... ;)

I'd really love to see film on what Billy and some of the others (but him especially from the sound of it) does to torment the actors playing corpses on the show. :lol:

Sara. Definitely. Which makes me sad because I used to love the character when the show started but she just annoys me.
