Re: What Are You Reading?-#3 I'm a few chapters into The Fixer by Steve Bunce. It's a boxing novel that's quite gritty. It's full of drama and the like. I'm enjoying it so far.

The vuvuzelas being sold in the UK/Europe at the moment are clearly only for novelty value. I'd put good money on them NOT becoming part of the European game. Much as I'm sure people would try them for a laugh, ultimately the European fans like to sing and chant and nothing is going to change...

I couldn't even remember some of those episodes which isn't a good sign. I went for 'Flag on the Play' in the end because it was one of few I could remember disliking. It probably wasn't my least favourite or the worst, I simply cannoy remember the others!

I gave it a B. I didn't love it but I didn't hate it. It wasn't an awful finale in my opinion but it wasn't particularly strong. It was quite hit and miss, like much of the season.

I just find it SO hard to believe that Shane would have survived the fall off the lighthouse. From that height into that sea? And then he arrives back in New York, perfectly well and dry and so on and continues to cause terror for an episode or several? I mean I'm all for suspending disbelief...

I went B-, I think the season was average it best. It had a few great moments but they were very few and very far between. Probably the most disappointing season so far for me.

I think Shane is dead but I think he probably was when he fell off the Lighthouse. I'm going with the 'dream' theory, much as I despise it.
