I really enjoyed the episode. It's great to see Eric/Greg on the forefront after so many years, even if I wasn't a fan of his character. It was great to see the continuity with his Old Vegas interests...and most of all I enjoyed the scene at the end with him and Cath. It did seem a bit...off...

Eh, as a fan of all those shows except L&O I'm not really surprised that they managed to beat out CSI. Personally I think it would have stood a chance pre-Season 8, but I think the show's been going downhill since then. Also casual viewers tend to flock to new shows rather than long runners...
