I'm with ya, Smokie! He should be a BIG part of a look-back episode because he is a BIG part of what made the show what it was. And I'm afraid I'm hoping it's the last season, too. In my perfect world he would be able to see it through to the end...an end that really should be Nick being in...

I know I haven't posted in FOREVER, but I just have to say... ...this is just sad on so many levels. CSI used to be the only show I had to watch, couldn't miss it, and now even when I watch it leaves me with a pit in my stomach for what was. Not that I didn't want the show/characters to grow...

Ya know, I really like Elisabeth Shue...but I do not like Finn. I have tried, really tried to be open to her character, but it is so in your face and at the expense of the "vets." I loved Harnois when she came on, and Danson. They mesh and meld. Finn is just an extraneous character...

LOVED Nick in this epi ! These last 2 episodes have been great, IMO. Sookie: I, too, was curious about that. I get the whole CSI-in-peril angle since we do care about these characters...I just want Nick to start kickin' butt and takin' names already! :D (Seriously, though, I was very proud...

I'm going to out myself as a COMPLETE nerd, but.....Terry Small ( the Brain guy) says that your brain actually functions better while standing! There are many executives, scientists, etc... that have elevated desks where they stand instead of sit! ...now back to your regular program...

I agree with so much of what you wrote, especially this. It should have been them...at least Sara. The more I watch these new episodes since Finn came, the more I see her as a superfluous character. It should have been Jorja who became the female "lead." She's more than capable, plays very...

^^I agree, Smokey, I thought the placings sometimes seemed random. With that said though, I do think they all have great rapport with each other, and I think we get a different dynamic with each pairing. (I love how Nick pokes fun at/with Hodges, and Morgan is tough but lovable like Sara...)...

^^I never pictured Hodges mother looking like Jaclyn Smith, I always pictured more of a Kathy Bates :lol:

That was sweet! I'm glad he did that. :thumbsup: ...and I love it when he talks about his wife! (like when he got all choked up on the Talk :luvlove:) He is SO in love! That's a rare thing of beauty, and I am so happy for them both.

That's a fancy FORENSICS jacket he's got there! :) ...and I love the ones in the second set where Julie is standing with her hands on her hips...like Nick, and Hodges has his arms crossed...like Nick. I guess everyone wants to be like Nick! Thanks for sharing all those pics! They're great!

I haven't gotten this far in my re-watch, either, but I do remember that great character-defining moment for Nick. When he comforts the victim's sister by letting her know someone does care about the case and what she's going through, it was like a window into his motivation for doing his job...

You know what's really freaky? When you watch these old episodes on dvd (or some of mine are amazon web downloads) in really good quality...you can actually see veins throb and bellies rising with breath...in the db's!! :eek::lol: (one example...@ 11:40ish in Season 3 Episode 5 Abra Cadaver...
