though my first thought at reading the 11.01 title was indeed an exploding lab with Wendy in it (and probably more) I have to admit your impression is more adequate..by reading other posts concerning the handling of non returning characters it lies definitely more in the line of expectation...

actually being a non native english my first thought was "OMG see there goes the lab with Wendy, Hodges and who knows else":( So other definitions would have definitely my preference ;)

well .. with the "joyful" news of a new lab tech for CSI... my irritation level has reached new heights... what was wrong with the one they had? well considering the expertise of the new one I have to agree with them who suggested there will be some negative fireworks for the season 11...
