Great thread! I thought about a CSI:Miami/Dexter crossover before. I still think it would be pretty cool. As for my ideas, I think it would be wonderful if they made the show a bit more realistic like it was in the earlier seasons. They should also bring back the old H already, I miss that...

Well, I wouldn't mind it if Horatio went back to New York a few times. Maybe work some cases with Mac Taylor again....they really had great chemistry.

The writers are definitely to blame for giving David very little to work with, and frankly, very little to say. They generally just give him one liners which is ridiculous. Still, I think David could put a little more energy in his role. Sometimes it seems like he's not even interested lol. But...

Very true! Sadly Horatio Caine, one of the greatest tv characters of all time to me, has been pretty much destroyed these last 2 seasons. The rest of the cast behaves as a team(well, maybe not Calleigh)but H is just too far removed. I'm guessing Caruso's heart isn't in it anymore. It made me sad...

Exactly! If there is another season they'd better fix this. Either change the writing for H or make Caruso act more human & friendly. This extra serious/distant act has been old for a long time and I'm sick of it.

Completely. Eric's attitude was the only thing that irritated me. The whole "angry/tough CSI" thing is 100% stupid and unnecessary. TPTB need to quit destroying this show with that kinda crap and focus more on the evidence and scientific aspects.

I think Horatio was in top form in yesterday's episode. He was calm and very supportive and respectful throughout the episode, and none of that vigilante crap. That's the H I wanna see. Not that violent one lol.
