Mac #3: Slim Macky & The Taylor Girls

I'm absolutely fine - thanks for all the concern! The fire was mainly confined to the electrical junction boxes etc and I only had smoke damage in the house (otherwise I probably wouldn't have made a joke about it!) I lost power, phone and water for a couple of days but I'm up and running again...

Mac #3: Slim Macky & The Taylor Girls

A note for your diaries in case you haven't seen this. On Friday,October 13th at 8 p.m. on the History Channel they are showing a documentary called 'Into The Fire' for Fire Prevention Week. Gary is doing the introduction. (it's ironic, since my house caught fire last week *g*!)

Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip

This last episode 'The West Coast Delay' had more drama and darker humor than the earlier ones. It's unfortunate it is up against CSI:Miami and is suffering ratings-wise because of it, because so far I think Aaron Sorkin's writing has been perfect (naturally *g*!) The Matt and Danny characters...

    Danny/Carmine #11 - I'm Lonely...NOT!!!

Due to a small domestic crisis I've been missing for a few days and now that I'm catching up I have to say - great pics! And I love the name for the new thread Danny/Carmine #12 - Ya Like That? He could whisper that in my ear anytime!

The finale was brilliant, I'm just sad the show is over for the moment. I discovered rather late that sci-fi were doing a marathon showing all day before the finale. Needless to say, I didn't get anything else done! I'm trying to decide on my favorite moment on this show - maybe the magnetized...

    Danny/Carmine #11 - I'm Lonely...NOT!!!

I'm so glad you found that piccy from the parade - I just knew there had to be a picture somewhere when I found the news item!

    Gary #2: Fire Alarm Hottness

Impostor is a sci-fi movie, written by the same author who wrote Blade Runner (I'm blanking on the name right now) and also stars Vincent DinOfrio, Gary Dourdan and Tony Shalhoub. Not that it matters - just watch the shower scene at the beginning *g*

    Danny/Carmine #11 - I'm Lonely...NOT!!!

Did anyone else see the news that Carmine was Grand Marshal at the Staten Island Columbus Day Parade yesterday? Couldn't find any pics but apparently he led the parade in a 1995 Pace car - Here's a quote from the Staten Island Advance: 'many who attended the parade cheered as Giovinazzo...

    Gary #2: Fire Alarm Hottness

There are lots to choose from - Mission to Mars has the best ending, The Forgotten, Fallen Angel (he's so sweet in that one)and, if you can find it and can stand watching a movie about golf, he has a fairly small part in A Gentleman's Game but it's a very thought-provoking movie and he steals...

Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip

This show just gets better and better. Loved last night's eppy. Matt and Danny are two of the best new characters to hit the TV screen!

Spoilers For Season 3-You've Been Warned!

FINALLY! A Hawkes-centric episode has been lacking since he left the morgue and joined the team. And, all things considered, it seems logical he would confide in Danny. He's probably worked mostly with him and they are friends. Kudos to the writers - can't wait!

Mac #3: Slim Macky & The Taylor Girls

Whoa - what happened? I'm off list for less than 12 hours and come back to a new thread! I'm going to need running shoes to keep up! Love all the new pics - the man is looking FINE!!

    Eureka

The episode on Tuesday was really funny. Taggart and Jo with the paintballs, the house going whacko, Carter trying to take a sick day . . .oh man! It's a shame next week is the season finale. I hope it's going to be renewed for another season!

I liked the second episode a lot. I'm not too sure I'd have been happy in the mine with the entrance blocked and depending on the others to (a) survive and (b) be able to dig me out! I agree Emily seemed way too calm when she was holding the gun on the escaped convicts but I wasn't at all...

Grade 'Not What It Looks Like'

Overall, I would give it a solid A but I voted A+ just because of Danny's dog! Too cute for words!

Did anyone see the pilot for this show last week? I was very impressed with the writing and am looking forward to the second episode tonight.

    Eureka

I check out scifi.com all the time but haven't listened to the podcasts. I don't have an ipod either and I'm on dial-up (yuk!) so it takes forever to download. New episode tonight although I probably won't see it until the re-run on Friday. The idea of Carter's house turning into a killer just...

Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip

I caught the re-run of the pilot on Bravo at the weekend and was immediately hooked. I watched the second episode last night (partly because I lost the sound on CBS and couldn't watch Miami and more because I preferred S60!) The show is brilliantly written (natch since it's Sorkin) and Matt and...

Hi luveykat - pant, pant - I ran over here as fast as I could - gasp - I LOVE this show and have watched every episode. Sheriff Carter is such a brilliant character (hence my siggy - isn't that just the BEST quote?) The whole show is quirky and funny, just brilliantly written!
