Anky has done it again, her 3rd Gold medal (Sydney 2000, Athens 2004, and now again) in the Individual Dressage :thumbsup: Dutch team have till now: Gold: 4 Silver: 5 Bronze: 4 Not bad for a small country :thumbsup:

Hi rahkira, the dressage is often a battle between Holland and Germany. We have a wonderful sportsathlete in Anky van Grunsven but our numbers two and three didn't do well whereas Germany, with Isabelle Werth, their people all did well. About Isabelle Werth, she and Anky always battle for gold...

We spent two weeks in England and petrol is cheaper over there than here in Holland so before we got into the Eurotunnel, we made sure that our tank was filled up :) We paid 1.12 british pounds so that's about $ 2.09 per litre

For a small country we are doing very well if I may say so: 1 gold, 1 silver and 4 bronze. Swimming gold, the rest all Judo medals.

She still looks as great as ever. I agree with desertwind, she looks well after herself and one can tell (only the smoking part). I don't think she looks like a 25 year old but as miacharlize said, she is a hot 40 year old :D
