I know I already posted this on the Season 14 Discussion thread, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to post it here too: CSI Writer's Room posted this on twitter: This episode is Morgan and D.B. heavy (Vegaslights mentioned that somewhere on this site).

I think the writers should've just made a choice in season 12 in terms of who Morgan should hook up with (or kept everyone on the team as friends, that would've worked just fine too and maybe create a romance later), develop that relationship, while letting her develop as her own character...

I know she got fired, but they could still always hire her back, maybe they didn't or maybe they offered her to come back and Liz turned it down, who knows. uh....:wtf: what's that supposed to mean??

I definitely agree on Morgan/Hodges. I tried, but they're just not believable as a romantic couple, they have more of a close friendship/sibling thing going on IMO. To be honest, I wish the writers had either kept everyone as friends or just made a decision back in season 12, and slowly built...

Sorry, hate to say, but I miss the old Hodges before season 12 (or really, before "Malice in Wonderland"). Again, I already had a feeling Hodges/Elisabetta wasn't going to last.

Who knows, Riddick, probably for the same reason they've turned any recent romance involving Hodges into a teen soap, starting with "Malice in Wonderland". I guess either Liz Vassey has moved on and doesn't want to come back to the show, or the writers have no interest in bringing back...

Palm Tree. I was specifically referring to the Hodges/Morgan/Greg triangle.
