I had thought about it that way too....and it would seem like the most logical explanation but still I think it just seems odd that he, even though he will be back, doesn't at least say something to someone about his needing to take a break or a step back. He didn't have to have a sappy goodbye...

I have to say it is refreshing to see that people agree with me that bringing Eddie in is a bad idea overall. I am gonna miss Adam sooo much but this show, as someone said, is teetering on the brink imo and that is soooo very evident in their desire to "go back" and try and make things the way...
