I agree, they should definitely work with the characters known expertise more than they do, especially with Greg at the moment considering they don't have a DNA tech in the cast for now.

A lot of aspects people talk about being soapy can be done in a non-soapy way, it's been done in the past on CSI quite well, it's all in the way it's written. Seeing Greg teach or train a newbie would be interesting!

As much as I love watching RDA in anything, Raynn is correct, he left Stargate to spend time with his daughter and I don't think he would be willing to do a full time lead again. I met him two months ago, such a nice man> RDA
