Grissom and Sara #36 A Love Story

I had no interest in watching/rewatching any episodes after FMN. Since the finale, however, I'm going back to some selective episodes to relive the glory of the early years, esp re GSR. Homebodies, Butterflied, Bloodlines, LD/DD are some faves so far. Seriously, that end scene in Bloodlines is...

Grissom and Sara #36 A Love Story

It's been such an arduous journey in the last few years that I don't feel I can 'gloat', but I do feel an immense satisfaction. I love GSR, and I love that AZ loved them as well. Such a wonderful uniquely portrayed relationship; and in the TV universe, I think GSR is the most enduring ship. 15+...

Was "Immortality" a satisfying series finale?

^^^ If it were the 1950's, Sara wouldn't have even been considered for the job. So, yeah, we've come a long way, baby. Besides, it was a good way to bring Catherine back to Vegas. Certainly, the world would be a better place if every human, male or female, would choose love and family over a...

Grissom and Sara #36 A Love Story

I was happy with the episode overall and thought the sailing-into-the-sunset ending was beautifully done. Obviously, I wish the divorce had never happened, but it did, and they had to deal with it. And, consistent with the history of GSR, their lack of communication was the big problem, and no...

    Finale Movie -- SPOILERS

Thank you, Anthony Zuiker! I thought this was a great way to bring WP and Marg back; and I didn't even mind Lady Heather. :/ WP was amazing throughout, and his scenes with Jorja were awesome. They pretty much tackled the divorce head on, then resolved their problems in the end, which was...

Grissom and Sara #36 A Love Story

Very sweet interaction last nite at the Paleyfest between Billy and Jorja. They both got a little teary-eyed, and so did I. Love these two. @CSI_CBS: "I think Grissom fell in love with Sara because you got him, and you got me too." - William Petersen to Jorja Fox. #CSIFarewellSalute

    Finale Movie -- SPOILERS

Wow to those promos! Dare I hope? The last writers made me a bit of a cynic, lol, but now I'm back on board, and excited. It looks as if GSR might be saved after all. :) The live ratings don't mean squat at this point. But I do think it will go out big if you include all means of streaming, and...

    Finale Movie -- SPOILERS

I'm sorry that George won't be back; but, like others have said, Nick's story in Vegas pretty much ended last season. I'm betting he will at least be mentioned. I'm pretty ambivalent about Melinda Clarke returning. Her character, both as LH and Dr. Kessler, was played out eons ago, IMO. But...

Grissom and Sara #36 A Love Story

Yeah, I get that. So, no offense, but you need to post somewhere other than the Grissom and Sara LOVE STORY thread.

Grissom and Sara #36 A Love Story

I don't deny that anything could happen, but I seriously doubt they will go with a LH or Catherine/Grissom hookup after all that has happened. LH was the ultimate MarySue, and Catherine will have hopefully found happiness with a great guy in her new location. And I suspect you meant San...

Grissom and Sara #36 A Love Story

LOL! But, to be fair, Carol Mendelsohn and Jorja were also around for the break-up storyline. It was probably a collaborative horrible decision; but I put the blame mostly on McGill, who I think orchestrated it, as well as many of the things that went wrong with the show. As the primary...

Grissom and Sara #36 A Love Story

I have mixed feelings about an onscreen reunion. They've done that...twice? Both were well done; and OTG was perfection. But since their last breakup made absolutely no sense with regards to their characters and was so poorly done, I'm ok with them just alluding to the problems of a long...

Grissom and Sara #36 A Love Story

ITA...with all of this. Now there's news that David Rambo is involved in the movie. I'm optimistic for GSR, and excited. I would seriously be ok with picking up a few years after the last season finale. GSR is happy and established, and Paul, Marg, George, and the lab rats return for a big case...

Grissom and Sara #36 A Love Story

I honestly never thought I would be posting here again, after what tptb did to GSR; and I doubt they can totally repair the damage that was done to the fandom by McGill and co. Still, I'm willing to give them the opportunity. My enthusiasm has waned, but my interest in seeing (another) happy...

Season 15 Spoiler Lab Discussion and Pics

SOOOOOO unfair to compare CSI (a show with 15 years to gather viewers) with a NEW show premiering in the death slot that you yourself blame for CSI's demise. I guess tptb had more faith in Cyber than Battle Creek. I enjoyed BC, tho sadly it may not have a future; and I'm looking forward to...

    Ratings Discussion

CSI adjusted down to 9.36 mil viewers/1.3 demo in the finals. There was little competition and only a 15 min delay. Face it: CSI had a cushy spot behind compatible lead in Criminal Minds. But it's an aged, expensive show that needs to stand on its own. And if it can't, well... I'm sure CBS...

The Rest In Peace & Remembrance Thread #2

Very sad to hear about Phyllis Frelich's passing. She was perfect as Grissom's mother, and I loved her final scene with Sara. I had hoped to see her again. Sincere condolences to her family. RIP Ms. Frelich, and Betty Grissom.

    William Petersen on Set

Indeed! With all the crap we, the fans, have been dealing with lately, it's just nice to see him. I'd love to see him with Jorja or Paul, but at least he's among the CSI crew. Now, if he would just knock some sense into tptb.......

    Goodbye, Paul Guilfoyle

Lmao! That's priceless. I'm sure CBS directed tptb to cut costs, and sadly Paul was the victim. Another move by Don McGill to cut ties with the past (ie, the glory days of CSI, the days before he took the helm). Ending GSR was unforgivable for me; 'retiring' PG is unconscionable. Doing...
