I think the chances of seeing them together is big, since they've had a few cases together in recent episodes, season 8 seemed to be in our favor for A La Cart and Goodbye and Good Luck. As for CSI: Magazine, if/when there is a new issue, I think there'll be more room for Eric Szmanda, now that...
