A lot of soldiers that served in world war two were fairly young, though, like recently graduated from high school. It's entirely possible that Mac's father was only 18 or 20 in 1945. If he was born in 1960, it would only make his father about 35, which is even younger.

I think in overall development, I would pick Flack, with the bringing in of his sister as well as the new romance with Angell, we are really seeing a softer, brotherly side of Flack that we hadn't seen before....but there have been sooooo many moments for other characters that were just amazing...

All in all, I actually enjoyed this episode more than I have enjoyed other eps this season. The storyline was kind of intriguing, in the fact that it focus more on the emotional aspects of the crime, rather than the crime it self. Plus, I loved the continuity in it-from references past crimes...
