I was a fan of Cold Case but didn't know which episodes had he written so I look it up and he did some relly good episodes. And for a new CSI writer asked to write for a SEASON PREMIERE looks like confidence to me. Looks like the premiere is going to be very good!

I'm worried that the Vegas feel of the show might be much lesser after Catherine leaves. I don't know maybe it's just me and she's my favorite. I'm still hoping for the best next season.

Diane Farr ('Numb3rs) as Marg's replacement but I really want Marg to stay. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Catherine the only remaining character with strong ties/connection to Las Vegas? I can only think of Greg as a fan of old Vegas stories and that's it.

Aliens (only 'Falling Skies,' not a fan of 'V' though), superhumans ('Alphas'), zombies ('The Walking Dead') and this fall dinosaurs ('Terra Nova' also from Spielberg)! Sci-fi shows are my new favorite next to crime dramas and comedies.

Never heard of Ted Danson. But anyway it's nice to know tptb is bringing in an EXPERIENCED CSI to take over the show. He's going to get a lot of good material (being supervisor) on the show might as well make him on top of his career.

Re: Season 8 Spoiler Discussion - There's Nothing You Can't Do In New Sounds like a powerful episode. I'm also liking the apparent (maybe temporary) changes in the crime lab. A show in its 8th season needs this strategy to keep things invigorated.

Yikes I forgot what happened in this episode. Time to watch again!
