    Season 8: Spoiler Picture Thread

Thanks, Shane! And I've been a clod for forgetting to do this sooner, so thanks for all of the Season 8 photos that you've brought us thus far.

Right, except where is the rest of the spread?

    Season 8: Spoiler Picture Thread

I agree that it's posed, but it was done during the filming of the episode, regardless, and not as a proper cast shot. There are tires all over the place, and they're wearing exactly the same clothes they have on during the later episode stills for A La Cart.

    Season 8: Spoiler Picture Thread

Wojo, why would it matter if it was photoshopped? They still *chose* to put her in there. No, it's not. It's a still from the second episode in which we already know Sara is not working, likely due to recovery.

Ratings: CSI vs ... Part 2

I sure do! lol. In May, Living Doll got 20.447 million viewers. Which means that this repeat managed to retain 69% of the viewers who watched it in its first run. Grey's finale got 22.572, which means that the re-airing yesterday retained 25% of the audience who watched it in its first run.

Ratings: CSI vs ... Part 2

Last year CSI had a 9.9/16 with a 4.6 in the key demo (so down a little bit, but as I said, Survivor - their lead-in - was down 14% from last year. Their second episode of the night got 10.0/17 with a 5.3 in the demo. Grey's last year had two episodes back-to-back. The first got 5.1/9 with 2.4...

    CSI Jumping the Shark?

As I said before, that wasn't the case for a long time, and then someone posted a link to that site, and "magically" overnight the GSR options rose by about 1000 points. But that's neither here nor there. The fact of the matter is that unless you go door-to-door to all 30 million people who ever...

Ratings: CSI vs ... Part 2

    Repeat of CSI (Viewers: 14.12 million; A18-49: 3.9/11) Grey’s Anatomy (Viewers: #3, 5.55 million; A18-49: #4, 1.9/ 5) 1) Happenstance - 13.792 million viewers 2) Living Legend - 12.091 million viewers - 12.3% drop 3) Law of Gravity - 10.038 million viewers - 17% drop 4) Built to Kill Part 1 -...

    CSI Jumping the Shark?

I do agree with that. Between the conversation that they had in Ending Happy (potentially in front of witnesses) to the arm-brush, or even Grissom holding Sara on the way home in Empty Eyes (look for the janitor watching them), they have slowly been forgetting themselves at work. But that's...

    CSI Jumping the Shark?

Took it to PM. Were that the case, we wouldn't be discussing it, and the discussions wouldn't be divided fairly down the middle. I'm sure that quite a few posters here think that way, but trying to end a discussion by declaring, "I'm right and everyone thinks so" isn't going to get you very...

    CSI Jumping the Shark?

And "curiously" when someone originally posted the results from Jump the Shark - which showed Lady Heather, Sofia and Catherine's problems above GSR, overnight there were 1000 new votes for GSR. ...certainly was curious.

    CSI Jumping the Shark?

Re: GSR, Miniature Killer, Sara in Peril: Jumping the Shark First off, no - she didn't. Grissom voluntarily said that, and honestly if he wanted to keep it quiet, he could have just said that the killer figured that hurting one of his CSIs would be payback. In fact, it was Grissom who elected...

Season 8 *Spoiler Lab* Discussion - Part 2

Aah - that's what I wanted to know - what part of the job it would affect. Because before it seemed like people were arguing about promotions and raises and the objectivity of the case itself. What I'd really like is if Grissom was ahead of the game and, without anyone necessarily realizing it...

Season 8 *Spoiler Lab* Discussion - Part 2

Sorry, Destiny - I just wanted to contest that last point. As for the Without a Trace spinoff... I'm all for it. A lot of spinoffs feel very gimmicky, but this is actually somewhat feasible, and also those two actors will be fascinating playing off of one-another.

Ratings: CSI vs ... Part 2

ABC aired a special about both Grey's and Private Practice with "sneak peeks" of the new season of both shows. Their numbers were still lower than CSI's lowest repeat rating this summer: Thanks to Marc Berman: ABC special Rain or Shine: From Grey’s Anatomy to Private Practice (Viewers: #3...

Season 8 *Spoiler Lab* Discussion - Part 2

Reckless? Why, were they having dangerous sex in his office? CATHERINE: It's my responsibility. I didn't follow procedure. DIRECTOR ROBERT COVALLO: Why not? CATHERINE: Because there's 24 hours in the day and I'm pulling 16 for the county, spending three pretending to sleep and the other...

Louise/Sofia: A Lady With Attitude Part IV

Louise is SO endearing! Ee, I love her natural accent. Like with Jorja, it's stunning how different character and actress can be.
