Ratings: CSI vs ... Part 2

CSI remains the #1 show on TV for another week, by a margin of around 2.5 million viewers and 0.6 household ratings points compared to Dancing With the Stars. Considering how fall Dancing has fallen this week, my guess is that they will retain it for a third week in a row, no matter how well or...

CSI did come second for the week with 20.97 million viewers behind Dancing With the Stars (which had 13.1 in households) and 12.8 in households. Grey's was third with 18.51 and 12.5 in households. CSI did have the #1 total of viewers for the week, however. Source. Other Ratings Updates for...

"A La Cart" Episode Discussion *SPOILERS*

I think the last is probably the most likely. Also, that scene in BTK 2, as well as Ecklie's comment in Nesting Dolls about being "sure" that Grissom needs Sara, I think Ecklie always knew that they had a relationship (even before they necessarily consummated it) that went beyond just friends...

Ratings: CSI vs ... Part 2

Yeah, and a tape was always a little inconveniant. You had to go out and buy a set of them, make sure you set the VCR right (there was always some kind of issue sometimes with it just plain not recording) and then coming home, rewinding the whole thing, finding the spot, hitting play - maybe...

Ratings: CSI vs ... Part 2

As one looks at the huge ratings drops for just about every show on TV, and the lack of any huge hits for new shows, it would appear that it's a very valid excuse indeed, and one that Nielsen, many networks, and people who have been analyzing ratings for years are using. Eh, no problem at all...

Ratings: CSI vs ... Part 2

And they're up! Thursday 9 p.m. CSI (CBS) Viewers: 20.81 million (#1), A18-49: 6.3/16 (#2) Grey’s Anatomy (ABC) Viewers: 18.13 million (#2), A18-49: 7.4/18 (#1) Disappointing, of course, but it still beat CSI's finale numbers, and the Lady Heather episode. And kicked GA's very, very sorry ass.

Grissom & Sara #30: Pin Me Down...But Not With a Mustang

Re: Grissom & Sara #30: Pin Me Down..But Not With a Mustang It means she's moving to the shift between night and day. So she won't be with the team anymore, she'll be with a new team.

"A La Cart" Episode Discussion *SPOILERS*

I wanted to say that I like the new detective! At first I thought it was Lockwood back from the dead. lol. But no, I thought he was good. Not taking over the scenes (like Brass does so fantastically) but sort of adding a voice of reason and explanation. I hope we see more of him - I was kind...

"A La Cart" Episode Discussion *SPOILERS*

If it had just been the headless horseman line, I think it might have been a mistake. But the whole thing felt very "classic CSI throwback" which is why I imagine it was intentional. So I agree. LOVE Nick and Greg working together. I have to say that I also liked Mandy and Hodges' "oh no"...

"A La Cart" Episode Discussion *SPOILERS*

Wasn't most of Viva Las Vegas meant as an inside joke for fans who had seen the pilot? I agree with xf here - I think that like in Viva, this was meant as a bit of a wink. The cases themselves had little or nothing to do with the old ones.

"A La Cart" Episode Discussion *SPOILERS*

Yeah, it's cool how much attention to continuity CSI has been doing in the past couple of years. Question - are we supposed to assume that Greg is lying about knowing about GSR, but just wants to sound like he has a leg up on Nick (so to speak. heh. The Love 4 Life.)
