Season 8 Spoiler Discussion - There's Nothing You Can't Do In New York

Re: Season 8 Spoiler Discussion - There's Nothing You Can't Do In New I'm glad the season didn't end on the kind of cliff-hanger that NY has done in the past. I think they left the show at an interesting plateau, and it'll give them a certain freedom where to start from. Should be good...

CSI: NY Renewed For Season 8!

I would expect that Nielson households are both contacted and expected to operate in confidence. For those interested, FAQs from Nielson Media Research (hope the link's ok, didn't have space to paraphrase :p) ;) Aww, nooOoOo . I hope ya change yer mind & remain part of the realm. Would...

CSI: NY Renewed For Season 8!

My apologies. For better or for worse, it's a habit I seem to have succumbed to (...:shifty: :p). What I and yet did was somehow brilliantly omit another quote I'd had in my post :p. That of: My bad. I don't entirely disagree, in that I think Suspect Behavior did have enormous...

CSI: NY Renewed For Season 8!

I'm happy NY's modified roster will continue to get a chance to play. That said, the only things I was really surprised by was by how many new series CBS picked up, and by one or two of the scheduling choices. That, of course, can still change. Must disagree about CMSB and LOLA. The...

    Season 7 Ratings

(consider it reported ;) ) So glad NY will get a chance to expand on what they accomplished this season and play with their new roster some more. Thanks for the link; here's another, from DHDTV Deadline F*cking brilliant, and I must admit, a touch surprising. Not that SB...

    Grade 'Exit Strategy'

I enjoyed the ep a lot. I loved the b/w to monochrome to color beginning, the stormy weather to clearer weather transition, the darker, rainier, more gritty feel, the sense of a daily grind, the feel of a toll taken, the contemplation & deep breaths with the repeated lock and load seen...

Season 7 Spoiler Discussion part 2 - Fighting Crime In Gotham

nel2h, that Gary's reps may be talking to people about other possible projects is not a surprise. There series was originally only optioned for 7 seasons, after all (I think?). No doubt there would be feelers out, from Gary considering things, and from outside parties curious about Gary's...

Season 7 Spoiler Discussion part 2 - Fighting Crime In Gotham

Looking forward to the S7 finale (and hoping for news of a season 8 next week :p). Keeping mine crossed as well. I'd like to think the franchise is still worth enough to keep it going for another round. Even Miami, if it means the network could go at it perhaps milking promoting the...

Season 7 Spoiler Discussion part 2 - Fighting Crime In Gotham

Man, I've been trying to pop in here for days, let alone comment of the last ep . Nice to see a new assortment of articles and promos etc. Trust me when I tell you that shows spend far more cash on far more ridiculous things :p. I can also only imagine that CGI-ing someone crashing...

Season 7 Spoiler Discussion part 2 - Fighting Crime In Gotham

^^ they could have written D & L fewer scenes together, or more scenes with other team members, without the pretense of switching shifts, long before this possibility, btw. Apparently not the tactic they wanted to pursue in including an internal relationship in NY's formula over the past few...

    Grade 'Nothing For Something'

Wow. First new ep in a dog's age. Or two years, for NY :p. I liked it. B+ type realm. And yes, I was freakin exhausted when I tuned in. Not sure how that skews things :p. ...It didn't try my patience, and it was entertaining, how's that . There wasn't much I didn't really like...

Season 7 Spoiler Discussion part 2 - Fighting Crime In Gotham

Heh, thx :p. Was rather unable to restrain myself. Sometimes I just cave . Dunno. I think they do these every year, or have done for the past few. A way to hype the finales, and/or eps that take place during sweeps. Doesn't mean to say there isn't additional portent :p. But, not how...

Season 7 Spoiler Discussion part 2 - Fighting Crime In Gotham

Much to catch up on again :p. Can't believe the season is almost done. Seems earlier, especially with only 22 episodes. Seems a few things keep coming up. Fears for how the show (and potentially series) may end bring forth zombie pinatas :p. I will try to keep this focused on upcoming eps...

Dr. Peyton Driscoll/Claire Forlani Thread #1

Hmm. Once CBS has brought you into the fold, you never truly leave.... Congrats to Claire, nice to see her back in prime time, in a way that will still let her pursue other roles. I actually could see her as a cool and calculating figure. How authoritative I'm not yet sold on. How...

    Season 7 Ratings

Not horrible. Not fabulous. Still winning the demo at least. But, Chaos does seem to be having an impact. Hope the numbers pick up for the remaining eps. Have to observe that they've been pretty damned consistent for the whole season, even with the shift to Fridays. Guess we'll see.

    Grade 'Identity Crisis'

Haven't had a lotta time to comment on stuff, though I've at least been able to catch up on watching everything. Unlikely I'll bother to retro-comment any further than this ep, but hey, after I base-jump off another cliff work-wise, I may just have time to do so :p. Anyhoo. I really quite...

    Favourite Character of CSI:NY ;)

...hmmm, tricky :p. I don't have one favorite above the rest. There are just some characters that have had me caring about what they face in each ep and how they handle it, and above all, it's the chemistry and interaction between all these characters that has had me coming back week after...

'CSI:NY' Wraps Season 7, Sinise & Ward Pose On Set

Too many unknowns for me to chance a guess on what the network might be contemplating. Not anticipating any public disclosure or confirmation of any sort any time soon either. Anyways. S7 may be the first box set I buy in friggin years for this show . It does feel like it's found new...

Season 7 Spoiler Discussion part 2 - Fighting Crime In Gotham

Much catching up. Glad my march madness and CBS' march madness coincide, so I'm apparently not missing out much here :p. Well, I've at least managed to catch up on watching the past coupla eps, though not comment on them. Thanks for tidbits y'all. Happy belated b-day to Sinise, too...
