Season 9 *Spoiler Lab* Discussions P3

[/B] I was wondering when they would get around to this type of convention. The one with the Plushies & Furries (Fur and Loathing) is one of my favorite episodes. Is this one written by the new writers who come from a sci-fi background? That would make a weird kind of sense. I can totally...

"Deep Fried and Minty Fresh" Discussion *SPOILERS*

George? A health nut? How do you figure? I know he likes to work out but anything I've ever seen has him as a bit of junk food fiend. Director's commentary from the Evel Knieval dvd, appearances on the Ellen show, etc.

Season 9 *Spoiler Lab* Discussions P3

This is all speculation on my part but from what I've seen of the spoilers it plays out like this: Over the course of a year, the CSIs get called repeatedly to this seedy hotel owned by Taylor's parents. Nick winds up interacting with her while he's there investigating the crimes and a bond...

Season 9 *Spoiler Lab* Discussions P3

I figure they'll bring back Bobby Dawson and have him be the mole. They won't have Archie, Mandy, Wendy or Hodges be the bad guy because they are currently far more popular than poor Bobby who has been chained in the sub-plot basement for several seasons. IIRC, we've only seen him in one episode...

Season 9 *Spoiler Lab* Discussions P3

I pretty much agree with all of this. I have no problem with this case being "personal" for Nick. All the major cast members have had their "Very Special Episode" at one time or another. And lets not forget that Nick has always had a reputation for empathising with the victim. It's who he is and...

"Deep Fried and Minty Fresh" Discussion *SPOILERS*

From what I've seen of the teasers, this eppy has the potential to be quirky, fun and loaded with black humor the way Ending Happy, Rashomama and Fur And Loathing were. I'm very much looking forward to this one.

Season 9 *Spoiler Lab* Discussions P3

It's not so much that the show has run it's course but that the writers are getting lazy. Last time I checked, people were still being murdered on a fairly regular basis so it's not like they're going to run out of material. I watch a lot of those real life crime/forensics shows and I find...

I think this looks great and I'm very much looking forward to next Thursday.

Now That Petersen, Fox, Dourdan Are Gone

I agree with myfuturecsi on this one. If they HAD brought LF in as a much more senior, experienced CSI everyone would be accusing tptb of trying too hard to make him into a Grissom clone. I like the Newbie Factor. It's refreshing. There are lots of people who decide to change careers later in...

Season 9 *Spoiler Lab* Discussions P3

I'm really tired of the "mole in the lab" plot device. It's been used in all three CSIs. Can't they come up with something original?

    George/Nick:Texan Charm #9

Ray is still in the honeymoon phase of being a CSI, full of bright eyed optimism and empathy. He hasn't learned yet that you need to keep your distance or you get burned out. Nicky is the master when it comes to balancing his empathy and his role as a CSI. Ray would do well do watch and learn.

    "Disarmed & Dangerous" Discussion *SPOILERS*

Yes, he had them removed so the result when he touched something would be a distinctive blob instead of the whorls and loops we're used to seeing. If you knew one of your suspects/victims didn't have any prints and then you saw blobs instead of prints, wouldn't you put two and two together and...

    Season 9 *Spoiler* Picture Thread

Thanks, I found 'em. It's funny to read comments from all these teeny boppers about how cute George is. It's nice to see that his hotness crosses generational barriers.

Season 9 *Spoiler Lab* Discussions P3

Word! We got a ton of Riley stuff shoved in our faces when she came on board and, no offense to the actress who plays her, but she's nowhere near as big a name as LF is. I expect to see more of him and welcome it. I've enjoyed what I seen thus far.

    Season 9 *Spoiler* Picture Thread

Where? When I look at her MySpace page, the most recent entry has her going on about how mother rearranged her bathroom. At the end she mentions that she can't wait to tell us all about her appearance on CSI but I'm not seeing it. Am I blind?

    "The Grave Shift" Discussion *SPOILERS*

Add me to list of people who did not find Catherine bossy or abrasive. Her supervisory demeanor in this eppy was a vast improvement over Season 5. Now that was bossy and abrasive.

Season 9 *Spoiler Lab* Discussions P3

Looks great! I love it when they bring people back like that. The two girls from the episodes Evaluation Day and Spellbound also come to mind.

    "The Grave Shift" Discussion *SPOILERS*

Au contraire, Speedy. The speech Catherine gave Langston about having a set of clothes by the bed, bottle of water, Thomas Guide, etc was the very same speech, almost verbatim, that Warrick gave to Greg back in the S4 eppy, Early Rollout. I thought it was a nice, if somewhat subtle, shout out to...

    George/Nick:Texan Charm #9

Bumping this thread up. The pic thread is always near the top and I can understand everyone wanting to drool over images of Nick/George....but this one needs a little love too. It's been days since anyone posted anything in here. I just saw the most recent spoiler from CBS and the scenes with...
