    Season 10 Ratings Thread

NY had four seasons with more than 22 episodes and would have had five if not for the writer's strike. As for them cutting back episodes due to $$$, we'll have to see how it shakes out. I do know CSI Miami will be a lot easier to watch now that there's no football after two more weeks.

    Season 10 Ratings Thread

It does look like the CSI franchises are getting cut back. Was afraid of that.

I heard where CSI Miami was reducing their episode order for this season as well... is that true?

    Season 8 Ratings

I will say this though..eight years of a show and 150 plus episodes is nothing to sneeze at. As painful as it is..it is sometimes better for a show to end on a high or semi-high note than to slowly watch it decent into something awful and unwatchable.

    Season 8 Ratings

IMO, that's the whole idea behind it. It makes it easier to justify axing the show at the end of the season if they can point to a decline in ratings..even if it caused by CBS itself. The saddest fact for me is that this season will have less episodes than season 4..which was cut short by the...

    The NFL Thread

I dislike the Pats, especially since I felt part of their Super Bowl run was helped by the fact they were videotaping the other teams. Having said that, the hype for Tebow was absurd.

Alas, her speech at the end to Mac and the fact she was willing to let her daughter take the fall for a murder she committed will hurt her in a big way.

I too am glad to see Tebow go. I'm sorry but my dislike of him has nothing to do with him being religious. If you want to be religious, I have no problem with that. When you showboat it like he did, that's where I have an issue with it.

    Ms Willows Regrets Discussion **SPOILERS**

Warrick was killed off because by that point he had burned all his bridges with the CSI production crew due to his legal troubles. That's not the case here nor with William Peterson, which is why I suspect their characters weren't killed off.

    Season 8 Ratings

Me too..I hate to sound like a broken record but the signs are all there. Moving it to a night where the ratings won't be as good and reducing the episode order are not good signs. You don't reduce episode numbers for a show you intend to keep on the air. I will say this...I am glad we got an...

    Grade 'Who's There?'

This is where I wish they had a Law & Order thing to see what would happen with those two,as well as last week's episode. I could see plea agreements for them. The fact Mark didn't kill Elizabeth even though she could ID him will go a long way for him and Meg. They will do some time for...

Home invansion and assault are the charges I would see against those two. At the end of the day, they didn't kill him, Elizabeth did.

I hate breaks between episodes too..especially when they follow a previous month long one.

I think they both panicked after the fight with Ron and simply got the heck out of there. I think the fact Mark didn't kill Elizabeth goes to what Megan said..that they never set out to harm anyone and couldn't kill anyone in cold blood, something Elizabeth had no qualms about doing.

Don't you mean the wife? Flack is the one who talked with the daughter, whom while I can't condone what she and her boyfriend did,but understand why. I don't think they meant to hurt anyone but often times with young people, they didn't think things through on this. The only thing come sentence...

I gave it a B+. As for it being similiar to Deja Vu, it is. WIth any crime show, fresh new scripts become harder and harder to do. I remember Cold Case, one of my favorite shows, having that problem towards the end. ANd with the CSI franchise..I've seen several episodes that have given me...

I have said this before...pity Ted Danson wasn't brought in earlier..he has brought back new life to the show.

GOing to be tough to watch some of the upcoming episodes...hopefully she'll be given a worthy exit.

Murder would be very hard to prove so I don't think they'd charge him with that. They most certainly can and will charge him with abuse of a corpse, tampering with evidence etc. As for the drunk kid,I could see him getting charged with failing to get help...but that's about it.

    Miami

I do think Miami is back but as for CSI NY..just my experience when a show is moved to a dead night and has its episode order reduced..not a good sign.
