They all have IDs, not badges (if you look close it just says CSI). Ecklie MAY have a badge, but it's a separate thing and comes with UnderSherriff (which no longer exists IRL, but actually WAS a position once). Basically, they live in Made Up Las Vegas ;)

Sofia quit CSI to be a cop. Brass was CSI supervisor, but not a CSI. Ecklie is a CSI and Under-sheriff, not a cop.

Yeah, that entirely depends on your POV ;) For me, Billy's last ep was neither 'OMG! Billy's leaving!' nor was it 'Hey, the Fish is here to stick around!' but rather '6 seconds of Jorja! YES!' Neither POV is bad, it just depends on why you watch the show :)

It's not a spoiler. It's all over the news (once you hit #2 on a Yahoo search for the day, I think it's safe to call it news ;) ) What it means is that she's here for the whole season, none of this 'x-episodes-we-think' BS like we had the last two years. Whole season, not every episode, like Paul.

Well, to be fair, being in the credits is a totally separate part of your contract as being 'main cast' or a 'series regular'. I think what they mean by 'full fledged regular' is we're not having the BS from last year where no one knew how many eps Jorja was in, and if she was leaving...

The first 6 (? six? 4? It's late) episodes she was listed as 'Special Guest' but appeared in the main credits. Basically, I've decided her contract status is a game being played with CBS to see which of us goes crazy first ;)

She was a series regular last season. That article got their wording from Michael Ausiello, who's ... he's not Jorja's biggest fan, so the fact he got THAT wrong isn't shocking.

On-again-off-again, yes. She should be in half to 2/3rds the episodes.

I expect to see Jorja on CSI next season. I'm just gonna put it that way.

The original date we had was the 18th. It was pushed back. My Spider Sense tells me there's some rewriting going on to fit Ted Danson ;)
