Greatfan, although Jon is great at comedy, I would rather see him do more serious roles. Comedies tend to be dumb and raunchy, unless some writer actually came up with something clean and intelligent, then I would welcome it.
Associated Press had this spin on the renewals:
As the CBS President said last week, one CSI is definitely cancelled and that is likely New York. I believe they are holding back on Miami to see how this new cop show does in their timeslot. And they also want to review the quality of the other...
Alessia, this article doesn't seem to add any new information to the discussion. Did I miss something? The more I think about not giving the early renewal to Miami, the less optimistic I am. I think economics is the deciding factor here. David is one of the highest paid actors in Hollywood and...
Why was Good Wife renewed so quickly? Their ratings have been tanking, and CSIM consistently beats them. It may be simply economics; Good Wife is much less expensive to produce. Do you think CBS is waiting to see how the cop show does in Miami's slot? The previews sure don't make me want to...
Viewership went up to 10.7 in the final numbers. The demo wasn't as bad as you think; it was enough to make the top 25 list this week. CSIM was #13 in viewership and #24 in 18-24. Very good!
Speaking of his new movie, Somebody Up There Likes Me, here are some new photos of him attending the promotion in Austin this weekend. Enjoy!

It was a pretty good episode, although Ryan didn't appear until the last 20 minutes or so. I liked that they used real time instead of flashbacks this time. Ms. Welch had more screentime than most guest stars and did a good job.
Most (if not all) of the comedies stink because they are raunchy and brainless, and now networks are talking about adding more this season because their ratings are so much better than the dramas!
One note of caution. I did a quick search on Zenith who posted this and am now not sure whether this is a legitimate blog site. Maybe the moderators could check on the validity of this statement. Don't want to spread false rumors...
Facebook page just posted this:
If Sunday is not being retooled, then I think our show is safe. However, upsetting for NY fans. Why couldn't she just name the show and be done with it!
I think this thread is a little too early, and can't give an opinion until all the episodes air and the running storyline plays out. However, that being said, I am really enjoying this season so far and have rewatched several of the episodes.
Well I think that is the point--we aren't suppose to like Sam, and it is all leading up to the finale. Natalia read her immediately. It does seem odd that Ryan is so shy around women he is interested in but is very relaxed and funny around women friends. He must have had a very bad experience...
And this was enough to make it to #20 in viewers for the week! This is good news! We beat The Good Wife in viewership and key demo again. Notice that these numbers were adjusted up from the preliminary numbers posted by Rachel.
I enjoyed this episode very much! Ryan was so cute with Sam! Very good ending, and good use of the entire team, except of course Natalia, but I didn't miss her at all.
