I think what most of us are saying is it's surprising her being a stage actress and not being able to adapt well to TV. There are some phenomenal stage actors who have some difficulty when going from stage to screen at first (and there's nothing wrong with that at all, and most pick up fast)...

And this might not make sense but I like how when the picture is small it reminds me of a fishbowl photo. -There was probably nothing you could do about this but there's a red vehicle on the right that is a bit distracting...

I would have to say Playing with Matches. Maybe it was because of the writers strike but it just felt off. It felt like it needed a lot of fine tuning but instead they just filmed the rough initial draft(which I guess is understandable since the writers had gone).

Usually everything on stage is bigger (Movement, facial expressions, voice etc) so no matter where you are in a theatre whatever is going on gets across to you. That's why some theatre actors are kind of wonky on TV and film because it almost seems like they are trying to hard and overdoing...
