I'm beginning to wonder if they're going to kill off Catherine in the last episode, especially after watching Criminal Minds this week. That would certainly cause Nick to reflect on his life and leave his CSI job.
I had wondered if the victim would be Nancy — or even D.B.'s wife, for some reason. But I never expected who the killer would be. Brass has always done everything possible to show his love to her and keep her out of trouble. This was all too bizarre.
Just because he has lymphoma doesn't mean he will die soon. I had a friend who had the bad kind, and they lived for a couple of years.
Obviously, Sid is one of my favorite characters, and I hope he survives through the end of the show.
I called the killer as soon as he appeared onscreen. My husband laughed, as this has been the umpteenth time on the various CSIs that I've done this lately.
I liked the Lindsay stuff. I had not read any spoilers, so I didn't understand why she needed to go back at this particular time until the...
Was it just me, or did Sara have a reaction when they were discussing the mother's inability to bear a child?
It made me think she regrets not having one or wants to have one.
I like Fishburne and enjoyed Langston. I'm sorry to see him go. I hope they send him off to teach, write a book, maybe reunite with his ex-wife —*and not kill him off.
This is the case it was based on, from Wikipedia:
Thomas Montgomery, a 47-year-old married man was convicted in 2007 of murdering a workmate in a case called the "Internet Chatroom Murder". He posed as "Tommy", a 21-year-old marine, and began an online relationship with a 17-year-old called...
Well, I figured out the killer as soon as they showed the first computer hookup. This was based on a very publicized real-life case.
Pretty good episode, though.
I agree that they made the detective and the head of security too obvious to be the culprit. I figured out who it was during the meeting when Ashley was talking about how her dad was always giving her gifts. I remembered that pink bookbag the dad held up when the agents were first at his house...
If anyone knows the song played during the "Pot of Gold" autopsy on CSI NY, please let me know. I already downloaded "What Lies Beneath" by Days of Ruin, but that turned out to be the wrong song.
What is going on with the filming this year? So much glare in the camera, reflections, etc. Sometimes you can hardly see the people or what they're doing.
