    Grade 'The Deep'

Pretty good ep! I liked that there was only one case, instead of two or three like usual. I like that Danny is always looking out for his friends: working Montana's shift in "Snow Day" saving Hawkes' life in this one, etc.

Grade 'Can You Hear Me Now?'

Pretty good ep. Glad to see Mac returned from London without Peyton and there was good Mac/Stella interaction. Not enough Danny and Lindsey though. I don't mean I necessarily expected an immediate follow-up to their romantic activities of last season's finale I just mean they weren't in it -- in...

    Traveler

The third ep was pretty good. I thought the idea of the guys NOT dying their hair, but leaving an empty bottle of hair dye in their motel room once they knew the feds were closing in, was clever. The part where both the guys and the feds were in New Haven was a little odd, though, for two...

    The X Files

I LOVED "The X-Files" -- it's my favorite show ever -- but I wasn't upset when it was cancelled. IMHO, they should have ended it after season seven.

    Traveler

I watched the first two eps back-to-back last night. It was pretty good and I think it has the potential to be an interesting summer series IF it only last 'til August or so. If the network execs try to drag it on for a full season or longer, my guess is it will get stupid. It needs a coherent...

NCIS thread #2: post here or get your head slapped

The season finale of "NCIS" was the fifth most watched TV show last week. It was the highest rated scripted drama (the top four were all reality shows) and the highest rated show on CBS (the top four were two on FOX and two on ABC). This is a *phenomenol" showing for NCIS. . .especially...

    Danny/Lindsay#17: The Ship That Strips!

I love Danny and Lindsay! One thing I really like about their relationship is that it turned sexual about the time it might have been realisticallty expected to do so; approximately 18 months after they began working together. Most TV couples take it to one of two ludicrous extremes: either...

Would You Like Lindsay Better If She'd Been Consistent?

I like Lindsay. I don't reallly think she was exactly "inconsistent". . .most people behave somewhat differently during their first few weeks on a new job (i.e. the first few weeks of last season) than they do once they feel comfortable and relaxed with their co-workers.

    A question about next season

I checked out the fall grid for CBS at another website I visit and they still have NCIS and CSI:NY listed at their current days and times, not back-to-back. That's not to say that a schedule change couldn't be made between now and then, but there are no apparent plans to do so at the moment.

    Gary in "Parade" magazine

Today's Parade magazine has a nice little article about Gary Sinise.

    So, um, did somebody die?

I don't watch the Vegas version of "CSI" on a regular basis -- I'm more a fan of the NYC version -- but I've seen maybe a dozen or so eps; enough to know who the main characters are. During the previews for the season finale, it looked like somebody was going to die. Did one of the regular cast...

    So, um, did somebody die?

CSI-ML-1194393-ML- This thread relates only to the Vegas show, so I'm moving it to that forum.

    A question about next season

I like the idea of an NCIS/CSI:NY pair-up, because these are my only two "must see" shows and -- if I happen to be out-of-town or something -- it's easier to program my VCR to record one two-hour block than two different shows on two different nights. Plus, that could just be my "TV night"...

    Flack question

Look, I *LIKE* Flack. Really. But is anybody else confused by the fact that he seems to simultaneously be: 1.) A homicide detective 2.) A member of the vice squad (running drug raids, etc.) 3.) A member of the SWAT team Also despite the fact that he appears to only be in his early 30s, he...

    Mac/Stella #8: Smacked Smex....'nuff said'

Despite the little Peyton interlude there at the end (Yuck!!) I thought the season finale just oozee Mac/Stella shippiness. She was the woman who knew him well enough, and cared enough about him, to stay at his side when he told her to get out. And the scene where he put his hand over his mouth...

    Danny/Lindsay #16: "Da!"

Yay!!! Danny and Lindsay get it on!! Was that sexy or what? And then at the end she was so sweet to him. And you could kinda tell, all through the ep, that he was *so* glad he'd taken Lindsay's shift, so he could get tortured instead of his beloved Montana. Way to go!!

    Grade 'Snow Day'

WOW!!! I've never given an ep an "A+" before, because I believe that should be saved for a truly superlative episode. . .and this one was it!! Loved Mac, Stella and Hawkes playing "Die Hard" with the bad guys in the lab! Loved Danny and Montana getting busy!! Loved Danny being smart even when...

    Grade '...Comes Around'

Pretty good ep! I liked how Mac "played the game" even though it doesn't appeal to him. Loved how the ep ended with Mac and Stella walking off together to go catch bad guys!! The McEnroe case was interesting. I also liked the Danny/Donny playing pool scene. I could have done without Peyton's...
