I agree with some of the posts above, I don't see him as Super!Mac, either. Yeah, some fans see him as a bit of a know-it-all, and he is, in some respects, but I don't see that as OTT or particularly out of character. For anyone who also watches NCIS, I see Mac and Gibbs as very similar...

If I remember correctly, I think in the very beginning of the actual book, readers are briefly introduced to the baby's father, but he really wasn't all that relevant in the overall scheme of things, so when they had to pare it down for the movie, the baby's father disappeared into the Black...

I'm intrigued to hear Rikki will make another appearance next season, Jacqueline Pinol is a terrific actress and Rikki Sandoval is a rather compelling character, IMO. And of course, Yay!! for continuity :) That said, I sincerely hope the writers don't go too OTT with whatever storyline they're...

Sam, The Stand is excellent IMO, and worth watching (I own the dvd & have seen it several times!) I consider the "horror" in it more of a mental/emotional nature than a physical, gruesome onscreen icky nature, if that's what you're asking. I don't really think that, for such a long movie, there...

The Sexy Sideburns make a reappearance!! :drool: Some guys look good in them, some guys don't... I'm of the firm opinion that Gary is one who does. Not that he doesn't look good without them, mind you :p But there's just something about the 'burns that draws me...

What a terrific picture of Gary and Melina, thanks for posting it! I wonder what event they were at? I love seeing candid shots like that of everyone :thumbsup: It's nice seeing them relaxing and having fun off the set and out of "character".

Re: Emmanuelle/Angell thread #1- Detective "Angel" Yeah, I was totally clueless when I first saw it that she was in it, it didn't "click" with me at all that it was her. Then when I saw her name in the credits, I thought WTF...? :wtf: I couldn't figure out who she possibly could have played...

RIP, George :( I had the pleasure of seeing him live several years ago, and he was fantastic. I loved his humor, his comedy routines and wittisms were truly classic. I'm so saddened by his death!
