I think that they think "including him" is being more than generous. I was watching some Season 3 yesterday, written by AZ and CM, and gosh...the show was so good back then. The writers today have forgotten (or never knew) what it was and what it should still be.

Agreed. It would be nice here at the end of his run if they could throw us a bone and give us a little more insight into Nick's personal life. Goodness knows they've crammed it down our throats about the rest of the characters. If they don't like writing for Nick then fine. They won't have to...

It isn't on Netflix or Hulu. CBS is pretty stingy when it comes to that kind of thing. Other networks have their shows on Hulu the day after they air, but not CBS. CBS.com has some, but probably not all of them. Or, you can subscribe to their new streaming service and watch all of them. I think...

Somehow, even after what happened to him, I don't think Nick considers his own life ruined by it. Nick's molester was female. He told Catherine, "She was a last minute babysitter".

I think if he had broken down completely it would have been too reminiscent of the scene at the end of "Turn, Turn, Turn" in the locker room with Ray. This was different because it was personal, and I think it was true to character that Nick would be more reserved about it. That's what I loved...

I thought it was great. Nice to see a writer (Devine) who can do an episode that isn't ridiculous or soap-opera-y and that actually remembers previous events from the show! Great scene. Not too much...not too little...just enough. And perfectly acted, of course. :) More later once we can...
