Can I just ask why people assume the new person would be a lab tech? the description says a new CSI not a new lab tech. Adam and the other lab rats are not classed as CSIs.

They don't have enough time to showcase all the CSIs they already have - I am thinking of the criminally underused Hawkes - so why bring in another one? I guess someone is not coming out of that bar. If they do bring someone new in, then in a weird way I do hope someone is dying/not returning...

I get what you are saying but I think out of all the supporting cast Emmanuelle was probably the most expensive. They probably thought they could cut her appearances right down or make an explosive season finale with a character death - kill 2 birds with 1 stone so to speak. I guess TPTB...

I like actors who do ugly crys, because most people do look particularly ugly when they cry. I get annoyed by 'beautiful' actors who to try to look all pretty when they cry, it just smacks of vanity.

I thought that was all a bit NCSI and didn't really seem to make any sense. Also I am not happy that Angell was killed for budget cuts (just put the interview in the Angell thread). If they had to kill a character to save money I can think of better options
