Although I can see why the producers, writers, etc. wanted the show to have a darker feel/look, the lighter look helped me get into the show more. I happened to be looking thru screencaps of the last few episodes on Past My Shoulder and I was shocked at just how much the show was lightened...

A: pretty good for a first season. It had its good and bad moments, but what show doesn't. There were some unresolved issues this season, that carried over, will make next season better.

Ditto on the strip search idea. ;) Reminds of what happened to Luke Wilson's character at the beginning of "Old School".

What freaked me out was the fact his character had a 2nd strain of DNA. I would have never thought that was possible until that episode.

My sentiments exactly. Another favorite: George Newbern as Todd Coombs in Bloodlines. I've liked him for along time and this character was different the good guy he normally plays (unless he plays a bad guy in something I've never seen).
