I didn't mean that he's happy *that* she's gone, I just meant he seems happ*ier* since she left. Just my opinion. But Jo definitely loosened him up, and she and Mac have a very different interaction and friendship than Mac and Stella.

It is on a reduced run. There have been mistakes before in various tv guides about how many eps there are. As the season goes on, it usually gets corrected. I think the tv guide people just assume there will be 22 eps per season.

I definitely agree about both points. As for Danny being boss, apart from what's stated above^, IMO Danny just isn't 'boss' material. Not yet. He lacks the emotional maturity that's needed to have that kind of role. I'm not saying he has to be the same as Mac, but he does need to grow up...

^I agree with all of this. I loved Jane and Mac's interactions. I don't think Mac and Stella were ever anything more than very close friends, and the same goes for Mac and Jo. I would love for Mac to find someone to fall in love with again, and like you, I think Jane could have been that person...
