    Wow I didn´t know you could be that secretive:shifty:. But have you enjoy the materiale so far? You fellow fans....As much as I love our labrats...Did this lovestoryline just start as comic relief? Or are the some "serious" thought to storyline way back?

    -"Shankar also revealed that the "little geeky romance" between Wendy Simms (Liz Vassey) and David Hodges (Wallace Langham) is going to continue during season ten.

    I haven't opened the package yet....As I said, I don't really feel like watching the DVD right now...I don't know, after Vassey's statements I got a bit cold about Wedges....

    'little geeky romance' I like that. Its a very sweet description. Im glad Liz enjoys doing the romantic angle. If the actor are enjoying doing something, usually makes it more pleasurable to watch for the viewers.
    Riddick- I hope you enjoy your DVDs, when you feel like watching them:)

    What has put you off? She seems in favor of the little geeky romance.

    Goes for me too. I hope in the end you will enjoy the DVDs.

    If any of you have the time. Do let me know: do you see romance as "the show romance" or as comic relief?

    From what I understand, the Labrat episodes were suppose to be a little lighter in context, and humorous, to break up the darker undertones of the show itself, but I don't think the blossoming romance is being used for comic relief. Sure, if you compare those episodes to others, one could say that's what it's doing, but I don't think that is the intention.

    Of course, I find it humorous, because harmless sarcasm and witty remarks humor me more then just goofing around (thats how my friends and I act on a daily basis). So seeing both Hodges and Wendy have those characteristics, and not afraid to use them, you could see why I would have more of a chuckle.

    But I honestly don't think that is what the writers and the producers are trying to do. Maybe in the beginning, that was their intention, because they really didn't know what they had. But the two actors work so well off one another and the characters have such chemistry, how could they NOT at least explore this avenue on a more serious note, to see where they could go with it. Although, I'd rather it be a comic relief then a planned replacement to fill the void for GSR.

    Yeah, I'm a little curious about that as well. Is it because if they make it official, tptb could ruin it? Just a shot in the dark!

    Sorry for the one line post, but I wanted to say that there's a little clip about Wally and Liz on the Tube on an occasion that looks like the season 10 premiere night in a Vegas casino.
    They both look great and a bit overly skinny, especially her...

    Hoping something more will eventually come out...

    Hi! I haven't been here for a while (stupid busy with work), but it's funny that you should mention that YouTube clip of Vegas. My friend was actually there at the MGM for a wedding and saw some of the cast. It was for the opening of the CSI Experience at the hotel. She briefly met Wally and Liz (we both love Wedges!) later that night at a restaurant and said they couldn't have been nicer.

    And I agree, I think they look great in those clips! :) I love the part where Liz is posing with SuperDave, they look like they're having fun. Oh, and for what it's worth, she said that the whole cast looked smaller in person than on the show.....

    Yeah, she was at complete ease on that stage...Very diva-like...Wally on the other hand had the "I'm on the dentist's chair" look...Very "Hodges doing field job" attitude...It's the same reaction I'd have if I were in his shoes so it makes me love him even more LOL

    As for the sizes of the whole cast, I don't think any of them is taller than six feet -as far as I know about anglosaxon measurements


    Ten days to season 10 premiere -and 9 days to Criminal Minds season 5 premiere...CBS is gonna make me very happy with a full dose of angst and some romance...I hope

    That's funny you thought she looked diva-like. I thought she looked sort of fun and goofy with David Berman, but that's probably only because I think she comes off that way in interviews (like the AfterEllen one that someone posted). I agree about the Wally/dentist chair. He's a snappy dresser, though. I was hoping we could see the two of them interact on the carpet, but sadly no. I'm getting my season 9 dvd soon, has anyone watched the deleted LabRats scene between Wendy and Hodges?

    No kidding! It was perfect timing. She was so excited. I love that picture from the deleted scene. Thanks for posting that, Riddick! I can't wait to see it. Oops, I have to go work now. :)

    They look so cute together...lol! Well I have yet to get the dvd set myself seeing the little nook I live in won't be releasing it in stores til the 22nd of this month. I've been eagerly waiting...and not without muttering a few obscene words. Last year we had the box set released days before many others, but not this year.

    Well judging by the many Wally pics I've collected over the years, he is indeed a snappy dresser. As for Liz, she seems like she has a fun demeanor about her in general. Your friend was indeed lucky to have met them.

    That pic from the deleted scene now makes me want to get the boxset even more... :lol:

    I don't think I ever seen her as beautiful as she is in the picture I posted above...They really look like a couple; maybe that's why they cut this part out, because the chemistry was even too obvious!


    Anyway:


    1. when the Astro Request Redux begins Wendy says something like "They're playing your song" -if my non native ear doesn't fail me- in a very sweet way and then they go to watch the infamous show

    2. the moment after "I don't speak Vellikon , what did you say?" is quite longer and Hodges's look is so....I think you should see th
