Now TV Guide Magazine reveals that Rodriguez will be back in the season eight premiere, but he will not remain on the show for the entire season. A source close to the actor indicated that Rodriguez will hopefully film a multi-episode arc before saying goodbye, but it is possible that he may not appear beyond the season premiere.
It was previously reported that Rory Cochrane (Timothy "Speed" Speedle) was approached to appear in the season eight premiere's flashback to 1997. TV Guide Magazine's source said the possibility may still be on the table, but it is not known whether Cochrane will sign on.
