Lenkov: We Lose A Member Of Our Family

CSI Files

Captain
Someone will die in the CSI: New York season finale, according to executive producer Peter Lenkov.
The final episode of New York's fifth season will find the CSI team "on the trail of a team of sophisticated kidnappers-turned-cop killers," Lenkov told Ausiello. "Their crime will forever change the CSI: NY lineup." That change comes in the form of a character death. "We lose a member of our family [in the season finale] -- and that's just in the first 10 minutes," Lenkov revealed. The finale will also mark the final appearance of Craig T Nelson as Robert Dunbrook, the publishing mogul introduced in "The Party's Over".
Before the finale, the team will deal with hatred in the twenty-second episode of the season, "Yahrzeit". As CSI Files previously reported, Ed Asner will guest star in the episode. He will be joined by Shelley Berman. "Our CSIs find themselves investigating a crime that takes them into the world of racism and bigotry, only to uncover a deep, dark secret that dates back to the Holocaust," Lenkov shared, adding that Mac Taylor (Gary Sinise) "will learn something about his father he never knew."
Much sooner than "Yahrzeit" and the as-yet-untitled season finale, CSI: NY will get a visit from Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz. CSI Files previously reported that the pair would guest star on the show. On March 18, they will appear in "Point of No Return", which is the eighteenth episode of the season. "I wish I got the chance to be murdered or rob a bank but I heard the make-up is much longer for that," Wentz told People Magazine. In the episode, the real life couple plays a pair of Bonnie and Clyde wannabes who get caught in the middle when a drug deal goes bad. People posted a clip from the episode here.
The original news about the finale and "Yahrzeit" is from Ausiello. The information about Simpson and Wentz is from People.

I assume this means someone from the main cast has decided to permanently leave the show. Which one could it be?
