Re: Talk LIMS #7: Challenge Three ~ Wendy Simms Alright, first up: Least: 15 - Colours look too washed out, making it a little unsharp. 06 - Looks like not a lot has been done to the picture, except cropping. 21- Maybe it's because of the scaling, but the pic of Wendy is really unsharp. Best: 04 - Nice and sharp, love the sarcastic skull with it. 19 - Love the bright colours and the cropping.

Least: 21 the background is a bit to eyecatching and takes the attention from the actual subject. Wendy to looks blurry. 03 To yellow 22 the purple is somewhat overwhealming and to bright the pic is a bit overshapened Best: 04 Great color and cropping. And the skull is a really nice touch. love it. 07 lovely use of texture and lovely coloring.

Nice icons everyone I really hate to vote for LQ but here we go: LQ: 6 - very dark and blurry. could do with sharpening. 20 - too much brightness and constrast. 21 - very blurry BQ: 9 - the colouring is really good and love the heart brush 7 - adore the colouring.

Plus some of it is mixed up in her hair. 13: Too dark, and a little too blueish. Best: 08: Since text wasn't allowed this time around you gave us something else to look at besides Wendy. The texture makes the icon stand out. Good job. 11: Nice texture and colouring.

Although I do like the crop. 10: The texture/effect covers all of Wendy's face which makes her appear pixely and blurred and she doesn't stand out against the rest of the icon. 13: Looks a little oversharpened. Best 09: Beautiful colouring and a cute additive with the heart. 12: Really creative and a great use of a texture/effect.

Furthermore the crop is too much of a close up for my taste. 22 - Too much purple (although I am a big fan of that color) which isn't picked up again in the icon, e.g. in text or a brush, etc. 21 - Wendy is too blurry and the texture is kind of distracting. Best 11 - Very cool. The icon is sharp and the red fits the picture, it makes it look really creepy. 14 - Nicely done overall. Good crop, good coloring and the texture goes well with it.
