I'm kinda irradiated that they are not having any reactions from Cath. The only thing we got was her in alley crying after seeing him, then at the funeral. Also the moment in the seasons second episode were she sees his name on her phone and freak a little. But since then nothing. Irritating.

hey guys... sorry I've been out for so long. I've been in many places since the last time I posted. Finishing my final project, preparing my brother's wedding, attending my brother's wedding and traveling to many places... the list never stops. These few weeks I'm staying at another house with no internet access and when I do, it's usually just long enough to check my mail. :(

But anyways, I'm still a yoblinger. Aint nothing gonna pull me from it. Recently I (finally) got my hands on Season 8. Seeing Cath & Warrick in A La Cart has made me giddy.

LLK, thank you so much for writing that one-shot. It was just beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. You expressed everything my heart wanted to say.

Right now, I'm writing (or trying to anyway) write a yobling fanfic. I'll post it when it's finished.

^^ I love A La Cart. Have to say that this is one of my favorite season eight episode. You can just see the energy between the two of them. Love how close they get in this scene. I would have to say this and the scenes in For Gedda are most likely the best ones of season eight.

No worries MelC I totally understand how life can keep you busy.

Re: Cath & Warrick #9 - He'd give her the shirt off of his back

So I actually used profanity out loud watching CSI last night. Cath's comment about being single made me want to kick her skinny little CSI butt. It just seemed to be the final point of denial that she ever had anything with Warrick. If she'd just lost her boyfriend she wouldn't have said that.

    It crushed me.

BUT... yobling is still the perfect part of CSI. I'm determined that it happened.

And thanks everyone for reading my story. Especially for those of you who reviewed. I really appreciated it and it made my day!

There was also the comment about not being able to sleep.

she did WHAT?! Well, at this point I dont think I care what the writers write, I shall figure out a way to beat them all by writing fanfics that counter everything that happened!!! Now if only I knew how to do that.. :p

Well, when I figure out, I'll be sure to let you guys join in my world of denial... ;)

The whole comment about still being single irritated me a little. But yet if they where keeping their relationship a secret from the team it still may be hard for her to admit it to her coworkers. They could have had her phrased it different like have her say all the good men are gone now. Or I don't think I will ever date again. Yeah just realized how morbid those sound but still could have been better.

Re: Cath & Warrick #9 - He'd give her the shirt off of his back

I just took that quote as meaning that she doesn't date anymore. Warrick was more mature than that and Cath knows it's gonna be hard ever trying to find someone else like him. Other guys are like immature goofballs (that still find mailbox baseball and such funny) in comparison to Rick. On the other hand, it seems like one of those things where you find it annoying if one person does it, but if it's the person you love being immature, then it's just endearing. When other guys do stupid things, or swap stories about doing stupid things, it's just stupid. If Warrick were to play it, then Cath would probably just find it endearing.

Overall, I think she meant more that every guy pales in comparison to Warrick and that, as a result, little things like mailbox baseball are enough to throw her off any given romantic trail. After Warrick, she always sees something 'off' in other guys -- an excuse not to date them -- when, really, it's not the stupid guy stuff like mailbox baseball, but the fact that they're not Warrick, that keeps her from dating said hypothetical guys.

(Wow. That post made so much more sense in my head than it does now on the computer :vulcan:.)

Either way, with Warrick dead, she is, technically, single, even if she's still in love with him. Did anyone else see slight tears in her eyes when she said that, or is it just me?

Damn I don't get to see these epsidoes till next year.
Do you know if there is a clip on youtube that shows this scene? What episode was it that Cath said she was single?

Re: Cath & Warrick #9 - He'd give her the shirt off of his back

I just finished watching Season 8... I think if there ever was a scene that proved a YoBling relationship, it had to be the one where Cath visits Warrick in the interrogation room. The way they hold each other is just pure love. And I love how Cath puts it simply "Stay strong."... and her going to his apartment to get his clothes! *swoon*

Right now, I dont really care if Season 9 didnt make YoBling canon. In my eyes, they're canon since way before.

Re: Cath & Warrick #9 - He'd give her the shirt off of his back

^^ Yeah she does kinda get that watery eyed look about her when she say she single. NZGirly it was in the newest episode, Woulda, Shoulda Coulda. I'm not haveing any luck finding a clip of the scene. MelC have to agree For Gedda has good YOBLING moments. Between that scene and the almost kiss in the diner so swoon worthy. Season nine has been rough on YOBLING. Mainly cause of Warrick being gone in general. Even though I know in my heart they where together before he passed. I still would like just even the littlest mention of them being a canon om the show.

Re: Cath & Warrick #9 - He'd give her the shirt off of his back

So I have been thinking about YOBLING alot as of late. I saw that in the shipper area of this thread the Nick/Sara thread was at the top of the list with the newest post. And it got me to thinking, anything is possible in love. We know YOBLING was real, we always will and will never give up on this ship. We just have to keep our spirits high and remember the good times.

    best YOBLING moment ever

New episode on Thursday. Perhaps we will finally get our canon mention of Cath and Warrick's realtionship. Even just a little sign again like her teary eyes in Woulda, Shoulda, Coulda will help keep the hope alive. YOBLING forever baby.

Re: Cath & Warrick #9 - He'd give her the shirt off of his back

I was thinking today of my favorite YOBLING moment. I love this scene in Living Legend in season seven. When Cath is telling Warrick about meeting Micky Dunn the first time. Love the smile oN their faces the entire time and the way they look at each other so great.

    Warrick
: Bang. You put a cap in Mickey Dunn.
Catherine: So you think that this motorcycle cop killed him?
Warrick: I'd like to find that police file. (pauses) What? You got a better story?
Catherine: I was 16, Jaws was sold out. So I went looking for trouble. Found Mickey Dunn. (shows a flashback of a young Catherine in a casino and Mickey Dunn catches her eye, he walks over to her and whispers in her ear) All he said was: "If I met him outside at 2am sharp, he'd show me the time of my life."
Warrick (smiling): No way, you and Mickey Dunn?
Catherine: Well, I showed.. .and he didn't.
Warrick: You were 16, hot and ready and he stood you up?
Catherine: All I know is that, I dodged a bullet... and he didn't.

    cute piccy

I also love in the episode The Finger in season two. Where Cath kisses Warrick on the cheek. In thanks for watching Lindsey while she was kidnapped. Like the on in For Gedda so close to a real kiss yet so far.
